Can not praise. The room was ok, but the noise bothered. The room had a really bad soundproofing. Cleanliness could be improved. Breakfast was simple. The hotel's location is ok. And the wi-fi works moderately.

Stayed in Kings for four nights. Not top of the range-but neither was the price! In a city break such as this I just wanted a comfortable and clean room and early breakfast. And this I got! Yes the decor and carpets need to be changed but I was that worried by either! Go early for breakfast as only one...

I had the misfortune of going to Kings Hotel. The room was smelling, the carpet and walls were filthy. I informed reception and OTP who had booked this accommodation. OTP said Tripadvisor had recommended this hotel so I am informing you that I had to find another hotel immediately. Of course I lost the money paid in advance for two...

Three nights we spent in the Kings Hotel which is in the centre of Pest, the citycentre of Budapest. The room was very good, everything you need, is there. Small fridge, TV, airco, watercooker, wifi, a safe, hairdryer, etc. The beds are perfect and room and bathroom are clean. So, for a three stars hotel it is a very good...

Great hotel, very good service and excellent location. Will come back for sure. Prices are very down to earth and the rooms are big and clean. At the center and yet quiet, nice pubs and rests nearby...

The hotel has many advantages : excellent location -a minute walk to Kosher restaurants and 5 minutes to the synagogue and Chabad House , and they have keys to the rooms- Sabbat keepers understand how important it is . The receptionist was so kind and nice really tried to help with anything , anytime . We were a couple with...

First the pluses: Clean room + en-suite, decent breakfast, friendly staff, reasonably priced minibar. Also, not expensive. Many shops, restaurants nearby. The lift is tiny - 2 people and 2 cases about max (odd) You get a kettle, but no tea or coffee (weird) Street side room suffers from late night revelers' noise at local gin joints (killjoy)

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
