The perfect location is a minute walk to the Vaci Utca and the market area. We could not have been happier. The breakfast was plentiful and our room was clean and bright. The staff was helpful and made arrangements for us to see the city during our short stay.

Hotel was in a good location for exploring budapest. Hotel staff allowed us to check in late..1am as our flight was delayed. We had a top floor room which had 2 skylights. Only a blind at one skylight which made room really bright in the mornings so no chance of a lay in. Also the church bells nearby rang fairly... More

Location is just perfect, you can start your sightseeing tour just around the corner. Spacious (very high ceiling), quiet rooms, clean and well equipped. Poor wi-fi and no english tv (despite the fact that few EN channels were listed in room-guide), but - if the weather is fine - you are not there for watching tv or surf the internet.... More

The room on the second floor was well furnished with a desk and storage units. It was quite spacious. It was en suite, although the shower was a bit cramped for entering/exiting. It had satellite TV with Sky News in English. The wifi wasn't the best. There was a big fan to cool the body in very hot weather (over... More

Discrete and unexpectedly quiet hotel in Budapest city center. Peregrinus hotel offers comfortable and large accommodations in an classical building. easily reachable from Kalvin tér metro stop. I would definitely come back!

This hotel is conveniently located to a lot of the sights, and all of the public transportation. The room was of adequate size, and has a bathroom ensuite. Although the shower is small if you are 6-ft + and 200 lbs +. There is a nice, flat-screen TV, but no programming in English. There is not any A/C, but in... More

Clean room, very convenient to metro, bus and tram, Danube and shopping street ( Vaci utca) 24/7 front desk is great, because you don't need to worry about a key- just leave it there, although you do need to check that they give you the correct key for your room when you come back. Twice I got the key for... More

The location is fantastic and the rooms clean. The front desk was not overly helpful and gave false information instead of saying they did not know the answer twice. You have to be buzzed in and when I arrived mid morning I had to buzz multiple times and then once buzzed in no one came to the desk to check... More

This hotel is centrally located. which is why I chose to stay here. Plenty of restaurants in the vicinity. A good thing about this hotel is that it is quiet, so you can sleep without problems. The only problem was that in the room, there was no AC, but only a fan, during a very hot summer in July. But... More

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
