Have stayed in Accor hotels many times, never disappointed & will stay with them again. Staff were friendly, room was clean & the bed comfortable. Easy to walk from the hotel around the city, but we walk everywhere. The tram outside was a bit annoying so ask for a quiet room, but we were only there for 3 nights so...

I stay almost every week one night in this hotel. The relation of price-value is perfect, is the tipical 4 star city hotel with the international mercure standards. If you are sensible for the night traffic noise - the tram runs until late night - just ask the reception for rooms facing for the train station. The train station is...

VEry good hotel and conveniently located near public transport including the metro. We were put up on the 8th floor of the hotel which is the business floor. Very good rooms, spacious and clean. Only disadvantage is that if you face the main road, the noise of the trams passing is quite load and annoying. There is a grocery store...

The hotel was very big and had lots of rooms. Very close to a subway station that easily takes you everywhere. Nothing was outstanding there (we've already had outstanding stays in hotels from the Mercure flag), but it was not bad at all. The hotel could use a renovation.

Staying in District I / Buda

Neighbourhood Profile
District I / Buda
The historical center to a city with a multifarious and intricate past, Buda has some of the most outstanding buildings in Europe and an enviable natural landscape with stunning views onto the Danube. Centered around the Royal Palace, it provides a glimpse into the golden years of the Austro-Hungarian empire and the lives led by the aristocracy at the time. Matthias Church, beside the palace, hosted many events attended by the royal family and was the chosen place for the coronation of Franz Josef, one of the Hungarian Habsburg kings. Having admired the palace and the church, a visit to Buda will be unforgettable by the stunning and memorable panorama over Pest offered by the seven towered Fishermen’s Bastion.
