Mostly, my partner and I had a nice stay at the hotel. However, on the last night I left my two very valuable and very sentimental bracelets on the bedside table. Packing my bag the next day I forgot to put them in. The hotel kept our bags for the following day after check out before us taking a taxi...

quite surprised after reading the reviews, was warm in the room, good size room with bath and shower, close to underground, local restaurants serving Hungarian food very nice and quite cheap, plenty to see and do, would like to see in the summer time quite bleak looking in winter.

We stayed 4 nights at the Golden Park, bed & breakfast. The hotel is located just out of the main Pest centre but beside a main rail station + metro + tramline. We walked most of the time though, a brisk 30 minutes in to the centre. The room was fine, bed comfortable, plenty hot water. Being beside the busy...

Location was the best thing about the hotel. It's right by the main train station and metro station making everything quickly accessible (or you can walk to the river - takes about 20-30 mins, getting more lovely as you get closer to the bridge). Tickets for metro are in the metro underground - easy to buy via machine. It's about...

Location was great even though is not in direct centrum. Metro, busses and trams go just in front of the hotel. Also nightbusses go by. Breakfast had a good variety. Not maybe the cleanest and fanciest hotel but will do if you just want a place to sleep. I would go again.

Let's start with the good :- It couldn't be positioned any better. Metro right outside, train across the road. Buses, taxi's a plenty. 10 minute metro ride to Deak. The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. The bad :- although the reception is quiet nice the rooms do not follow suit. Stained carpet, curtains that don't shut or fit...

We had a great experience in this hotel. Both because of the family friendly atmosphere with very friendly and helpful staff. The central location with a tube entrance outside the front door made our trip with a young child very easy and relaxing.

We got a room smaller than 12 square meters but it was replaced with a bigger one with a bathroom since we asked a solution . No t.v channels as described in their papers, but one in English. Fridge was disconnected when card was taken out of socket. No water drain around the bathroom. No soap near the bath place....

Firstly Budapest is not the place to visit if you are disabled. No ramps anywhere. Some buses have disabled signs on but no drop down access. Entrance to the underground is by steps only to get to the ticket office level. At the the main station there were lifts but all were full of junk and not in service. Now...
