Not quite a four star hotel in terms of the rooms, lobby and restaurant. The place feels more like a three star in comparison to the four stars, I have been in previously. However I would give 5/5 for the value for money and excellent customer service that was provided at this hotel. Buffet breakfast was quite good and there...

The concierge (Wolfy) was absolutely outstanding: his manner was always courteous; he welcomed us every time we returned to the hotel and he was a mine of useful information. All staff were helpful and friendly. We had emailed to ask for early access to our room on arrival if possible. The mailed response was warm and polite but, understandably, promised...

Just returned from 4 days in this lovely city. We arrived at the hotel at 11am and was able to check straight in which meant it gave us a whole day to explore the city. The receptionist was great telling us the bus to get to the centre however we found searching on google the bus stop name to the...

We stayed here for 3 nights. Upon arrival we were checked in quickly and given some information about the city and how to get there. This hotel is not in the city but it is super close and there is a choice of 3 buses to get in to the city which come almost every 5 minutes. The room was...

On arrival we were a little concerned as the hotel is on a main road but this really wasn't an issue, our room was towards the back/side so noise was not an issue. Our room itself was clean and comfortable but a little tired looking. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, the bar area is comfortable for that much needed...

Great staff, pleasant room, would thoroughly recommend. Don't miss the sauna and Jacuzzi at only about a fiver each for an hour and a half. Two minute walk to the bus or tram and then easy access to the whole city. We used a 72 hour pass (about £11) which got us around everywhere and back to the airport

Excellent hotel. Booked for the program Wizztours FLIGHT + HOTEL! Everything was good, a convenient location. Good service. Wi-Fi is good. From the inconvenience - 2 separate single beds. Nearby there is a good restaurant and a convenience store. I would recommend this hotel to everyone!

Staying in Gellert Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Gellert Hill
If you want to treat your camera to some amazing scenery, Gellért Hill is a must on your itinerary. A funicular journey from the Chain Bridge along the hillsides provides a fast connection between Buda and Pest, hoisting visitors to panoramic vistas. Once on top of the hill, you’ll find the Citadel dominate the landscape with its imposing 19th century construction, a site that’s hard to keep your eyes on without being distracted by the phenomenal view over the Danube and the eight bridges crossing. Once on Gellért Hill however, one mustn’t miss the famous Gellért Baths. Budapest is renown for its thermal waters and its baths, and the Gellért Baths are housed in an impressive art nouveau structure. Its interior design, with its many mosaics, recalls the preceding relationships the city has had with healing springs and saunas, traditionally used within this neighborhood since the Ottoman Empire.
