This hotel was perfect for a business trip or a short stay in the city. It is well located, very central location (close to the Chain Bridge); moderate price; the room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and available.
This hotel was perfect for our busy family of 4. We stayed in a 4 single bedroom that was as big as a suite. The charm of this hotel made it the favorite of our trip. It's essentially an old apartment building conversion. Beds were...More
Our room was a large suite at a very moderate price. The room was clean and comfortable. It was dated but that gave it a quaint feel. Hotel facilities were limited - there was no central lounge. Wi-fi reception was patchy and unreliable. Staff were...More

as Huskies92 pointed out the Hotel is not in walkable distance from Keleti train station but is doable taking the metro but depends how much luggage you have and if you are comfortable using the metro. You would need to take the M2 line towards Deli Palyaudvar but get off at Deak Ferenc and change to get the M3 line towards Kobanya-Kispest and get off at Kalvin Ter, which is the second stop. I didn't use metro to go to train station but I did use metro for airport and to other places. It's easier if you buy day pass or travel card. Check the Metro map to give you an idea.
I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Kalvin it's close to a lot of places.
