Stayed here for 3 night over the end of April/beginning of May bank holiday. Hotel was very reasonably priced considering it was a bank holiday too. I arranged with reception for someone to collect us from the airport by filling out a simple form. This cost arround 8,900 HUF which I think was around £26. (Definitely worth it for the...

We stayed here Mid April and had a wonderful stay! The hotel is located next to Vaci utca which is the main street for shopping in Budapest, lots of shops and restaurants, close to metro station and close to the river in front of the Ciutadella and the Buda castle, one of the main atractions in Budapest. I was there for four days, rooms were nice with everything you need,...

We stayed at the Zenit Budapest Palace over the Easter break, chosen initially for the location being perfectly suited to explore Budapest. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean and well presented, the staff are very approachable, friendly and helpful. The hotel is very well situated near the Danube to visit Buda and Pest. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Clean and silent rooms. The in-house restaurant Divin Porcello is a great extra to the hotel. Budapest was one of our best citytrips.

We went there for three nights and although it was a nice hotel, the room was very small. The location is central but as long as you stay in Pest it's all easy to get to. We stayed at another hotel after and found it better value and larger room.

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
