Recently stayed here as part of a stag party holiday and had great time here and in Budapest.   The location was fantastic, being very central and right in the middle of the party area of Budapest.   The rooms where very clean by hostel std’s the only downside was we had a massive stairs to climb to get to...

I came here on the recommendation of some travellers I met in Prague. Hi 5 sounded awesome as it was across the road from the biggest nightclub in Budapest and apparantly was a party hostel. I stayed here on a Friday and Saturday night and the place was dead, this is NOT a solo traveller friendly hostel. There is an...

We stayed in the Hi 5 Hostel for four nights in June 2014 as a group of five in a six-bed room. The hostel was explained to us at check-in as a semi-party hostel. Essentially, you can be as loud as you like downstairs in the reception/lounge/kitchen area, but bedrooms are for quiet time. Sounded fair to us. The room...

I keep forgetting to write this review, but I have to because Hi 5 was so so class. I was meant to only be in Budapest for 2 nights as I was only travelling around Europe for 2 weeks. I enjoyed my time at Hi 5 so much that I wanted to stay more nights. This is down to a...

A great hostel with a vibrant atmosphere and very friendly staff. We planned on staying for two nights but it took us seven nights before we actually left. There was food served at a very reasonable price and great drinking games every night. The facilities were in good condition and the hostel itself was clean. If you want to party...

Upon arriving, my traveling friend and I walk into an angry room of other travelers being turned away from the hostel. It turns out Hi5 overbooked a great deal of people an ha to turn away a lot of people who had booked with them months in advance. We luckily got the last two beds because we were the only...

There were four of us when we arrived and we were a little bit down on our luck, but as soon as we came to hi 5 everything became amazing!! All the staff were absolutely incredible and were our friends at the end of our 3 days there. We met so many amazing people! All the facilities were good and...

We turned up to this hostel having booked, paid the deposit and got confirmation well in advance of our visit. When we arrived late at night they told us we'd been double booked due to a fault in the system. Obviously not their fault and they were very apologetic and said they had arranged for us to stay in another...

Stayed here as our first destination for interrailing. The staff were lovely and we made lots of friends, It's in an ideal location as Instant is right opposite. I would definitely visit here again. Thanks for a great stay!

We were a bit reluctant when we first arrived at the hostel as it doesn't look much. We were welcomed by really friendly staff who checked us in and took us to our room which was just as we expected it to be. There is lockers to secure your items, the beds were comfy, all we needed! I can't sing...
