Some of the reviews here are pretty brutal, which is understandable because it's a pretty rough place - hard to find, next to no security, and yes, awful, AWFUL showers. We were only here for one night, thank goodness. I get that cheap hostels are...More

First, the hostel is a very dirty place. There was trash in the door when we arrived, the bathrooms were invaded by bugs, and the showers were flooded. After that horrible first impression, we went out and at our arrival there was an unknown (probably...More

During our stay there, the security was so bad that the cleaning lady asked if someone had stayed in our room last night that wasn't meant to be there. Clearly people realised the check in system was faulty, you could just come in and have...More

Beside good location, nothing else is worth mentioning about this hostel. Oh, yes...always flooded bathroom, never cleaned, NO showering after 12pm, disorganized stuff, kitchen can be used only for coffee, beds not comfortable. Stay here only if you must.

I ll say only one thing that should cover it all: dirty sheets and smelly duvets!!!! It is a shame because if it wasn't for that it would be a pretty decent hostel. The location is good although there was noise coming from the street...More

          District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses
the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and
colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in
an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes
and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic
crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of
the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in
Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly
