Rooms are basic but comfortable and warm.Staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast Buffet, the choices were amazing.Would certainly stay there again. The metro is only 10 mins walk away from the City Inn, and very reasonable in price, especially for winter time. Travelling around Budapest on the big bus tour was amazing, I would highly recommend a trip to Budapest

Arrived here relatively easily on the metro/airport bus to dump our stuff in our room and then head on out to explore. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean, tidy, warm and quiet. Breakfast is standard as expected (why would you expect anything different anyway) and so far, second day staying here, the bar serving up local beers in...

I stayed here for 4 nights to explore the Christmas markets and the city. The hotel itself is well located and is just a few minutes walk to the underground. There are plenty of shops and restaurants situated nearby and a large shopping mall is 30 seconds walk from the hotel. The breakfast buffet is very good and the choice...

Have just returned from a 3 day break in Budapest staying at the City Inn hotel. The hotel was excellent - clean, friendly and easily accessible. It is about a 10 minute walk to the nearest Metro station from which it is 3 stops to the city centre. The hotel is modern, has an excellent buffet breakfast, a nice bar...

Location is slightly away from everything but everywhere is easy to reach via tram, metro or walking. Room was clean and tidy and breakfast was nice. Staff very friendly and helpful. Most days though only one person working on front desk from which they also served the bar, so you do have to wait to be served.

This Inn was very similar to a premier Inn. Comfy beds, no balcony ( but to be honest we went when it was way too cold to go out on one) and a good bathroom. Not much storage for clothes but we weren't there long enough for it to be that necessary. The breakfast was a continental and I had...

Dear "vickyandsteve", Thank you very much for taking the time and sharing your positive experience with everyone in the TripAdvisor community. You are right, in the standard rooms the wardrobes are smaller than in the superior rooms, but the good news is that over the next few months we are going to upgrade these rooms. As a consequence the wardrobe...

Visited this hotel with a friend for a 5-days stay. We liked the location as the hotel has easy access from the airport and is between two stations of line 3. There is a nice mall near the hotel and lot of cheap supermarkets like Lidl and Aldi nearby. We were given a noisy standard room overlooking the street and...

The hotel is next door to Corvin plaza and an area with multiple restaurants and Rossman. Staff is friendly and helpful. The triple room was a bit too small for 3 people and their luggage. We had 3 big luggage and 2 small ones we could barely walk in the room. But it was very clean. You can ask for...

We travelled to Budapest with friends and their daughters for 3 nights sightseeing , the hotel is clean and modern. It is slightly outside the city's centre with about a 15 minute walk into the central area. It was adequate fro our needs with a Hungarian style breakfast.

Generally, a well maintained simple hotel. Though I would not rate it worthy of 4 stars, given it does not have a resturant that can serve lunch or evening meals etc. Staff are very cordial and welcoming. Nothing much else to do other than the Corvin plaza shopping complex near by.
