Really cozy and comfortable room, in a modern hotel, located at 3 minutes by feet to the M3 metro line. Nice and lovely staff at the reception and well cleaned rooms.
More than fair cost. Heartly suggested.

The hotel was awful. The staff was rude; the rooms were dirty -- the staff did not change our towels in the five nights we spent there, the glass and mugs were never replaced, the complementary instant coffee lasted one day ; the breakfast was...More
The location is very good, but there ends the good side of the hotel. We were three adults (parents and son) and had a small room that was uncomfortable. My son had a short bed and slept the night with his knees bended! and he...More
This hotel is perfectly adequate as a base to look round the city. It has air con and breakfast was included. We arrived very late, past midnight but the desk was still manned and English was spoken. The metro station is about 300 meters, turn...More
Stayed for a week here and found it more than satisfactory by the very helpful staff. Noticed a few negatives, like restrictive brekkie times. That said 7-10 worked for me except staff a little stressed when room booked after 10 which I think is reasonable....More

I recommend you to change currency only at the official places that have publicated exchange rates (banks, change offices, hotels, travel agencies). It is illegal and very risky to excahnge money in the streets, I do not recommend it at all. If you want to exchange foreign currency to Forint they apply the buying rate. Some change offices are tricky because they display the sell rate first, which is the higher rate, so be very cautious. It is allowed to apply commission, and the change offices usually do use commission, which is 0,2-0,3%. One of the best rates in the city is at the Correct Change offices. The closest office is 10-15- minutes walking distance from our hotel. (1085 József körút 40.)
I do not suggest you to exchange (buy) Forint in your home country, because the rate is much better in Hungary. Generally the rates are better in the currency exchange offices than in the banks in Hungary. There are lot of excange offices at the centre. In the shopping centers the exchange rates are worse than in the city centre.
If you fly from abroad we recommend you to change currency after your arrival to Budapest city centre, but not in the Ferihegy airport! We never advice to change any money in the airport terminals because the difference can be 15-20% compare to the official rates at the city centre.
I hope this information will help you.
