This was mine & my husband's first trip to Hungary, in August 2012. On arrival at the hotel, my first impression was that it seemed a little tucked away and isolated (but that was upon arrival at around 9.30pm on a friday night). Our taxi driver warned us that it wasn't a particularly safe area, and to be very careful... More

The hotel is clean and room comfortable enough. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast however was at best ok, certainly not terrible. The location is initially somewhat ddisconcerting, however didn't experience any issues in the days we were there and it's close to the metro so it acts as a good base to get around town. One thing... More

In March 2012 we visited Hungary for a week and chose the hotel from the Finnair recommendations. We did expect good connections to the centrum, which succeeded by the metro. The area itself was not very comfortable yet, maybe dirty and also for the first night at the street side very noisy. Next morning we asked for a change and... More

Good breakfast, nice facilities and location. Just not for those with vertigo, a glass waist high partition separates you from an internal courtyard. Very handy for the metro. Would recommend, great room for the price. Room on the small side but the metaphorical cat could be swung without difficulty.

We are just back from our 3 day break in Hungary. Staying at the Atrium Fashion Hotel which was arranged by the travel company. After reading some reviews on this website we were looking forward to staying at the hotel. Walking into reception, desk staff helpful. Then on to the room. the only downside was the area around the hotel, although I walked the streets at night and it did not seem dangerous, the hotel is conveniently close to the subway (metro). near by is the posh New York hotel , where you can go for lunch or desert since Atrium Fashion Hotel does not serve any food except breakfast, which... In a central location, just a few meters from metro and tram station, Atrium Hotel was the best base for my trip in Budapest. It's a modern hotel, with friendly stuff and it offers delicious breakfast. The rooms are not big but they are well-equipped. The hotel offers free wi-fi unless you ask the reception for the password. All-in-all my... More

My wife and I recently enjoyed a 3 night stay at this hotel, all the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The whole place was pristine, our room wonderful, the bed comfy, the bathroom superb. Breakfasts were sublime with a choice of cereals, fruit juices, sausage, egg, bacon, hash browns, vegetables (cold and hot), bread, cheeses, meats... More
