While this is supposed to be a 3-star hotel, the only good thing is its location near the Basilica and A.C. The bed is lumpy and hard as are the pillows and comforter. Bed is also very low to the ground, suitable for a small child, but not for an adult. The sheets were too small for the bed. Look...

Due to the high turistical/business season in Budapest, we had to look for a second option for lodging. We found this hotel as available so we booked there. This location is perfect for the tourists which travel by anything but car. Hotel does not have a parking available, even picking up or leaving someone is troublesome. Te parking nearby are...

This is a great value mid-range hotel with excellent location nearby the St. Stephen's Basilica. It's close to shopping streets and public transportation. (Don't forget to visit the ice cream parlour next door). The AC worked well despite temperatures up to 30 degrees Celsius outside. The staff is friendly and helpful. I recommend it for long weekend stays.

What we liked most in this hotel is its perfect location. Very accessible to the train station and to the famous landmarks of Budapest. You can even just walk around in most part of the city center. St. Stephen's Basilica which is just a very few steps away. We were allowed for an early check-in. At night time we still...

Stayed there for 4 days and it is very good value for money, as it is smack in the middle of Budapest, surrounded by all bars, restaurants, clubs and the old town is just a10 minute walk. Breakfast is basic but ok. Be careful when exchanging money only go to authorised places as got ripped off just outside one as...

I have stayed several times at this hotel, mainly because of its excellent location next to the Basilica and in the vicinity of a huge range of bars and restaurants. I have attended the Formula 1 race in Budapest many times and this hotel is perfect for me being close to the Metro station allowing easy access to the place...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
