My wife and I stayed two nights here and our overall impression was positive. + Location is good, 5-10 minutes walk to historic places + Staff are friendly and helpful + Free parking (on-street or closed parking lot) + Free wifi (we had strong signal, good speed, may vary with rooms) + Food was great (breakfast is nice, also half-board... We've spent 4 nights in the Szinbad Panzio on the hottest days in the summer. The air conditioning was working perfectly. The rooms and the restaurant is average, there is some character especially the restaurant, rooms are looking modern, clean, with small problems. The hotel is some kind of maze. Our son loved it. We've been there with two other... More

I have stayed here for two nights during a business visit. The place is very okay, the room had everything what I need expect a table where I can do some work. Otherwise the room was clean. The restaurant downstairs is very good with typical Hungarian food.

Spent two nights here with spouse. Welcomed by Andrea who is friendly and a good resource for directions and information. Given room 7. Clean bathroom and comfortable room. Overlooks the Barbican and on the front side. If you're sensitive to street noise, you may want a room in the back. We weren't bothered. No elevators here, FYI. Hair dryer and... More

Altough the bathroom was smaller than usual everything was fine, the breakfast was good with fresh foods, including the fruits. The room was modern, small, but well organized and ergonomic interior, warm athmosphese and good color selections. The bed was comfortable. This is a medium size hotel with moderate prices, but it worth every coin. They are the only hotel... More

We were given a family room overlooking the street in the attic. It was on the small side for 4 people but with clean and comfortable beds, and at a reasonable price, we thought it was ok for one night. When we went to bed we realised there was a big problem: noise. there was a bar on the other... More

The four nights we spent in this hotel in July left us with mixed feelings. It seemed to be the perfect accommodation with its central location (cathedral 3 minutes) and nicely furnished rooms. We were on the top floor in a relatively spacious room with a beautiful bathroom. We were provided with free air conditioning and wireless Internet, the room... More

We recently stayed at the Szinbad Panzio in our visit to Pecs. Upon arrival, we stopped our car in front of the hotel, & went in to inquire, but was promptly chased off by a grumpy restaurant staff. The hotel room was very cramped. There was no space to walk, one had to crabwalk from one end of the room... More

Remembering hotels from 20 years ago, we approached with trepidation. Getting to our room was a maze of corridors but it was very spacious, clean, with a huge bathroom and sunken bath. The food 20 years ago was another horror, but we discovered that the Panzio's restaurant was our best option and ate very well. All in all, a really... More

My school was in Pecs for a sports competition involving all the medical schools in the country, and I took the opportunity with my friends to look around. We stayed at the Szinbad Panzio, and visited the castles. It had just rained before we started touring, so there was this slight wet feel to it, combined with the somewhat dark... More
