Positive: great location to visit Szeged. Impressive decor, space and the eggs in the breakfast. Negative: breakfast was confusing. No buffet, no yogurt and no fruit available. Detected some issues in maintenance and cleaning – after addressing the hotel, the feedback I got was promising.

Stylish hotel. Very decorated. Not like "big chain" hotel. Bedroom is great. The bed is very good. Food is fresh. Breakfast awesome. Dinner fantastic. Staff friendly. Wifi network is acceptable. The location is close to downtown area. Very convenient. I would return stay there when next visit.

Beautiful hotel in a stylishly renovated, historic building. Excellent atmosphere, great rooms, excellent service, great breakfast, outstanding on-site restaurant--as good as any in the country. The spa is small but a nice bonus--great steam room. And the prices are very reasonable. The only drawback, and reason for 4 (and not 5) stars: the wifi didn't work in our room, and...

Not cheap but I think it was worth it. Good location, nice room, nice breakfast. Wellness is quite basic but OK for the hotel size. I would definitely stay here again if I went to Szeged. Try their restaurant for lunch or dinner.

We were really amazed with this place! It is calm, very originally decorated , located close to the historical center of the town. All the staff were nice and friendly and the cuisine was.... excellent! We recommend to travellers who prefer something different than hotel chains which are so similar one to another.

Good location - centre, but quiet. The room is spacious, you don't feel like in other hotels that you are 'squeezed' into a small space. A welcom bottle of water is waiting for you :) Good insulation, so you don't hear noises from the street. The whole hotel has a nice atmosphere. Deco is genuine. The bed is comfortable, excellent...

Everything about the Hotel Tiszavirag is for the looks, and it certainly succeeds in its unique presentation, décor, room layouts, intriguing pictures and furniture. Unfortunately, at times, comfort is sacrificed in the interest of harmonious appearance. For example, an extra towel hook or a shelf might be useful. Some prudish guests may find the lack of bathroom privacy an issue,...

Delightful hotel with an absolutely delightful staff starting from the girls at the reception and at the breakfast place. The place is a 19th century historical building which has been done up in a very contemporary modern style. Paintings, sculptures, objet d arts everywhere. Our room was lovely and cosy. our friend's junior suite was really high class with a...

Great combination of modern spacious rooms, helpful friendly staff, and good food. Inconspicuous street frontage opens onto a surprisingly bright interior surrounding a glassed-in central courtyard/dining area. Recently renovated, the hotel achieves a rare mix of modern, spacious rooms and comfortable inviting lounge spaces that respect the original historic layout. We had a first floor room opening onto a common...

The hotel we booked showed to be little gem with nice big rooms, great breakfast, interesting art on the walls and a short stroll to the main square! The only small thing that could be an improvement is some bed lamps.
