This guest house is exceptionally good. Situation close to the sea and the old town is perfect - also very peaceful. They have a big, beautiful garden. We had an ordinary room for two, which was spacious (25m2), clean and really beautiful. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was included in the price, and it was nice. I can highly recommend...

Location: Close to town centre and the water. Well kept premises with a large garden and off street parking. The sign "Lahe Maja" you pass easily when driving down Lahe street. So watch out for the blue wooden building. Pre-payment was necessary but only a few weeks ahead, not at time of booking. Direct bank transfer was easy within the...

Loved our stay in this beautiful Haapsalu guesthouse. Excellent location, lovely garden, views to the bay, still the central square just 3 minutes to walk to. (We stayed to visit the blues festival). And most important - the hosts Terje and Jocke were very kind and helpful. Coffee was very good and nothing was too much trouble. The house is...

We were on our way to catch the ferry to Muhu/Saarema Islands and had only one night to stay in Haapsalu, but it was one of our favorite experiences. The building is beautiful and fits in well with the picturesque small town feel of Haapsalu. It is just a short walk to the water, the terrific castle, and also into...

Stopped by for two days on a cycling holiday. The place is cute, neat and clean. The rooms are stylish and the overall service level is good. It is located by the sea, but still only a couple minutes walk away from what you could call the center of town. The friendly people running this place are fluent in at...

We stayed here one night only, but we would have liked to have stayed longer. Well furnished and large rooms with tee and coffee machines. A perfect braekfast served by the extremely kind people. The location is very good, close to the town centre, cycle and walking paths etc.

If you are to visit Estonia, then you must visit Haapsalu. It is one of the nicest towns in the Baltic countries. Tidy, Pretty and with Water on 3 sides! And when choosing where to stay, Lahe Maja is a perfect choice. It is an old building restored to early 1900 style, cost for a double room is 70€ /...

The place is beautiful and unique. The service was very personal for breakfast. I would definitely return if I need to find a place to stay in Haapsalu. This being said - probably in a different room. The specific room lacked a sink, the bathroom was installed under a tilted roof and so the space was sufficient probably for midgets....
