The Rixwell Collection Savoy Boutique Hotel is celebrated for its pristine and spacious rooms, with many guests appreciating the luxurious bathrooms equipped with underfloor heating. Its enviable location in the old town garners frequent commendation, offering easy access to attractions and transport. The Savoy Boutique Hotel is perfectly located for exploring the Old Town of Tallinn. It’s just a short walk to the Town Hall and Square. One is also very spoilt for choice with numerous excellent restaurants in the immediate vicinity. We were warmly greeted by very friendly, English speaking staff who couldn’t have been more helpful. We visited during the Christmas season and the hotel was tastefully decorated creating a very festive atmosphere. There is a lift to all floors if required. Our standard room was fine, clean and well equipped as you would expect. The bathroom was comprehensively equipped with hair dryer and all necessary toiletries. Our good sized bath had a shower over. We experienced little road noise on the second floor due entirely to the double glazing. The Tv worked well and our room was equipped with a safe and mini bar with free water daily. Free WiFi in the room worked well, too. The large bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately, after a day or so our room, 202 suffered from a severe foul odour but we were immediately given another room as soon as we reported to the reception staff. Breakfast was superb! There was a full range of muesli, granola with fruit and yogurt, as well as fresh hot food. A choice of fruit juices was complimented with the option of Sparkling wine for the decadent and adventurous! We had a very flight upon our departure and the hotel staff very kindly made up a breakfast picnic to take with us, which was much appreciated. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

We spent 3 nights at Savoy Boutique Hotel at the beginning of June 2024. The hotel is hosted in an Art Deco Building which keeps some af the period features giving an overall pleasant atmosphere. The location couldn't be more perfect to explore the compact, but lovely Tallinn historic center with lots of bars and restaurants nearby, as well as convenient public transport. We stayed in a Suite which was spacious, airy and very comfortable, with all the amenities fir a pleasant stay: coffee machine, kettle, bath amenities, etc. Modern bathroom with huge jacuzzi! An area for improvement which could be addressed for a more pleasant stay is definitely breakfast. It is in fact quite basic and doesn't offer many local products, which resultts in a rather plain experience. Staff are all nice and professional. We also liked the water cooler guests can use free of charge in the lobby, a thoughtful idea both convenient and environmentally friendly. In all a good hotel definitely recommended for visiting this small Baltic capital!!

I’ve been visiting Tallinn twice a year for the past 20 years and I try different accommodation each time. It was my first time at the Rixwell Savoy and it was a superb experience.
The service was friendly and welcoming, the hotel is charming and tastefully decorated. My room gave me a view of the old town that equaled that from the viewing platform at St Olaf’s Church.
Location is excellent. In the old town yet near the theatre and the Solaris/shopping centers.
Room was spacious, comfortable and the coffee machine made excellent coffee. Bath robes were soft and having a bath was a welcome addition.
Also, taxis can pick you up right outside the hotel - not all areas are vehicle accessible in the old town.

We stayed two nights in the Rixwell Savoy. It is important to consider that Tallinn is a very touristy city, so lodging cost may be higher if compared with other similar alternatives. The hotel´s location just in the old town´s periphery is excellent for having the opportunity to return to your room if necessary while visiting the main sites. However, in the accommodation, you will find double rooms in the small side that do not have the possibility of managing, do not say two pieces of luggage, but neither one. You will have only one bed table, so not enough facilities to maintain personal belongings or to charge electronics. Finally, the sufficient size bathroom, offers attractive toiletries and accessories.

The hotel room has very worn out furniture, and when you are taking a shower you have to stand in a bathtub. Breakfast was really disappointing: omelette did not taste eggs, all the products were cheapest possible, and selection was extremely limited. On the first day they forgot to clean my room, and when I pointed it out the service person acted rudely and impolitely. Soviet union is gone long since, but "soviet service" lives in this hotel.

The hotel is ideally located bordering near Old Town. The bus and tram stops were about 5-10 minutes away.

Although the hotel has a lift, it required climbing several steps which was a problem my packed suitcases. Since my room was on the third floor, it was faster to climb up and down the stairs than to use the lift.

The bathtub was a problem. As it was raised above the floor, it must have been designed by and for hurdlers. If it was not for the foot stool, I would have injured myself getting in and out of the tub.

The room was not designed for the modern traveler. Of the two free wall outlets, none were above a table. Only one of my charging cables was long enough to place my phone on the nightstand while being charged.

The breakfast was a combination of hot and cold items. Although there were many items available daily, only twice did they offer fruit juices beyond apple and orange. My favorite item which I had every day was the berry cake.

We stayed at this lovely hotel in December 2022. Although we had some setbacks during our stay, the hotel reception took these into account and we had a very nice experience in the end. The breakfast is one of the best in Tallinn hotels, the hotel is on a very optimal location and the service is very friendly. Recommended *****

I absolutely love the hotel’s interior design, but after Covid the quality of the service has dropped! Not okay for one of the most expensive hotels in Tallinn.

I paid extra for a really lovely room, but all kinds of small things were missing in the room (sloppy housekeeping) and the espresso machine wasnt functioning. Also, upon my arrival, the hardly English-speaking receptionist gave me somebody else’s room & charged me for that.

When I left feedback with the hotel management aften my visit, I got no reply.

My family and I have stayed at hotels in Tallinn several times. This time we wanted a change and this experience was a very positive one. The welcome when entering the hotel was very friendly and the staff at the reception was so professional. Rooms were tidy, well equipped with crispy clean bed linen and the bathroom very functional. Breakfast in the restaurant was also very good and there was a lot to choose from. It was a little busy, but the staff did a good job at keeping everything going and they hade time for a smile and for wishing us a nice day. Location is great for whatever you wish to explore in Tallinn.

Great hotel in a great location.
Really central and easy walking distance to everything.
Slight problem with the room on arrival as paid extra for a spa bath and wasn’t given one, however I had a balcony and when I moved rooms (I asked to look first as the room I had was nice but they said no) asked me to bring my luggage down, it seemed a big downgrade so I asked to move back - reception didn’t seem very happy. & resulted in 3 trips up and down with luggage. Normally I would have just kept what I had but it was a special trip as was visiting my husband who I hadn’t seen for 6 months. That was only a small issue but once back into the original room it was great.
Room 509 has a great view and I think the only room in the hotel with a balcony.
Love the free champagne included with breakfast.
Bar staff are great and really friendly.
Staff let me in and to wait in reception over night when my flight was cancelled as the hotel was full.
I would stay here again if I returned.
