A beautiful quaint hotel in a perfect location in the Old Town of Tallinn. Beautifully designed, well kept, clean with great staff. Old Tallinn is literally on your door step. They serve a great fresh breakfast too, would thoroughly recommend it!!

Dear Guest! Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review about us on TripAdvisor! We are very happy to hear that you would thoroughly recommend our hotel to everyone. I agree, our breakfast is both fresh and great, most of the items are made from scratch just an hour or two beforehand. I would also like...

The guy at the reception has been very nice and welcoming. He also offered a discount. Later i understood why. The heating in the room was not working and we are at the beginning of November! As soon I realized it I informed the reception (a different person was there) and she said she was going to check, but nothing...

The one investment poor quality hotels cut on is a good piece of mattress. Cru uses the cheapest kind that is found in backpacker hostels. Absolute zero support. If you have any back problems.. this would spell death. I had ask for a change of room but was told it's "all the same" mattress.

Charming boutique hotel accessible by foot only (but not far from taxi rank), a stay at the Hotel Cru is a unique experience. The building itself is over 500 years old, every room is different and you are located within the confines of a UNESCO rated world heritage area. Very atmospheric. Excellent restaurant and helpful staff. Concierge Oscar formerly worked...

Dear Swagfella. Thank you for taking time to write a review about us on Tripadvisor! Your suggestions help us to improve Hotel CRU! I agree, Viru Street can be quite noisy at nighttime, especially since we are at the very heart of the Old Town. The central location is also the reason why we are only accessible by foot. We...

The hotel is full of old charm with lots of exposed walls, stairs and long corridors. Our room was very comfortable with a great modern bathroom and the wifi was great. It was very clean with the sheets and towels being changed often. The breakfasts were delicious with a good choice of hot and cold food, and as mentioned in...

Only a few rooms. Great breakfast and lovely caring staff - in the old town and walk to all the sights. This hotel has medieval character but with 21st century plumbing and bedding. Wonderful restaurant completes the picture. All at reasonable prices.

This hotel has a great location in the Old Town part of Tallinn, just a few steps from the main square. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Late Medieval architecture in one of the oldest houses in Tallinn together with first-class service and possibilities create a unique atmosphere which connects with the environment surrounding the hotel. When renovating the house we respected both the initial architecture and the strict national heritage protection requirements that ensure that both the location and design of the hotel rooms is as loyal to the original concept of the house as possible. In 1997 Tallinn Old Town was included in the UNESCO World Heritage list and that can be regarded as the highest international acknowledgement to any historic town! In addition to a usual lodging experience we offer you an exclusive luxurious boutique-type experience, deriving from the unique design of the hotel building and its medieval legacy. Since all the rooms are unique and different from each other, the visitors may choose the intimacy or luxury of their preferred environment. Our breakfast is made of self-made or farm-grown fresh high-quality ingredients that are not so easily, if at all, found in shops. Natural and fresh breakfast is a unique experience that lights up the whole day! On the lower storey of Hotel Cru you will find a cosy and highly regarded restaurant of the same name. Hotel guests enjoy 10% off all items on the restaurant menu. Dmitri Haljukov, the head chef of the restaurant Cru, represented Estonia in the chef olympics final Bocuse d'Or in Lyon 2015. CRU Hotel is a good choice for both - leisure and business trips! ... more   less
