Was looking forward to my visit to this hotel as I had already read some of the reviews, but I found the hotel very noisy especially after asking for a quiet room and the service from some of the staff was poor especially if they found out you were british you were non existing to them and don't bother handing... Stayed here with my partner over Easter 2011, I must say on arrival Andrei the porter was very helpful in carrying our bags to the fourth floor. It is a very old building and as a young couple there was no problem in traipsing up four flights of narrow stairs, but if not very active or have trouble climbing stairs... More

This hotel is very very good value and typically Estonian! Brilliant location in the Old Town steps away from the main square! For the money it's a brilliant hotel!

Pros: Friendly English speaking Reception staff, reasonably priced room (I used a coupon from Hotels.com) with underfloor heating in en suite bathroom!, well located in Old Town with short walk to Main Square, excellent choice at breakfast with selection of hot and cold food plus plenty table space, really cool basement bar (great cocktails!). NB: If in a large group... More

We were in New Year holidays. Quick check-in and check-out. Laggage store is absent. Good breakfast. Perfect location. Clean, comfortable room near reception, but jacuzzi wasn't working =)) we used bath and shower. It wasn't a problem There was a computer with Internet in a hall near our room and it was free wi-fi in a room I recommend to... More

a very picturesque hotel full of old-Europe atmosphere, matching the general old-town Tallinn atmosphere very well.located within the old town The hotel is very conveniently The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast good, rates very reasonable. Too bad the room safe didn't work, and - as seems the rule in Tallinn, no coffee/tea making facilities in the room. all in... More

Had an economy room which was small but nice and with a decent sized bathroom. Had specifically booked a double, rather than twin room but got twin beds nonetheless. No big problem though, as we just pushed the beds together. Breakfast wasn't anything special but it did the job. Staff was very helpful. We could store our luggage during the... More

This hotel was unique, it was similar to a museum with high quality furnishings and nice details. I booked one of the "Cozy" rooms so I knew it would be small but it was actually ok! My room was very well equipped with lcd tv and mini bar and tastefully decorated. The only downside it didnt have a window and... More

We arrived for our 2nd stay at the St Olav (see last review). On arrival we were told there had been a flood in our rooms and we had to go to the St Olevi (?) instead, which was not as nice as the St Olav. While we were being told this a huge group of German tourists turned up,... More

Stayed first week of April. Lovely hotel, recently renovated so up to date bathroom and decorations. Room a bit small, but we got really cheap rate from Hotel Pronto so no complaints about that. Didn't find it at all noisy (3rd floor). As stated before, excellent breakfast and really central - very close to main square. Lovely antique furniture and... More
