Practicality and cost-effectiveness in a historic setting; these are the main features of the Biplan Hotel, which is located in a historic 19th century building. Its walls remember the visits of many well-known people. It was here that the celebrated Russian pilot, Sergey Utochkin, used to stay. In 1911, Utochkin in his Farman biplane demonstrated “flights in apparatus heavier than air” over Daugavpils to the public. Today, the hotel preserves the memory of those days in retro photos on the walls and, from the very first moments of your stay, you will be immersed in the romantic atmosphere of the first flights. The hotel offers 32 comfortable rooms, rich and varied breakfasts in our restaurant and conferencing facilities for up to 20 people. There is a picnic facility in the courtyard. The Biplan Hotel is conveniently located within a 5-minute walk of the historic city centre, the bus terminal, the Ice Arena and other popular sights. We provide free parking.
