The rooms have no view and are quite small, some gangways are depressing, some less so. A decent hotel with a good location, a very pleasant breakfast room and bar but not a “Grand”, not a “Palace”. A misrepresentation that is not clever at all, it just makes for unhappy clients who would have more happily accepted this quite pleasant...

Dear guest, Thank you for your visit earlier in July and for finding the time to share your experience. Although we certainly appreciate the kind words about our staff, location and the breakfast room, it is hard to agree our rooms provide no view. With its privileged location in the Old Town of Riga, our hotel features 3 various views...

We stayed here two nights as part of a Tauck tour and enjoyed it very much. The location is ideal for seeing the historic town of Riga. The room decor is surprisingly modern, but very comfortable. The Orangerie dining room is a beautiful place for breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed the outdoor cafe area one evening for dinner. The mushroom...

Booked 2 rooms here on our way passing through Riga. Had slight difficulty accessing the hotel by car as the main access roads were closed by police (festival) who proved rather unhelpful. The hotel staff however were very helpful and guided us into old town, offering to valet however I elected to drive myself. Room - quiet, spacious, tasteful furnishings,...

I stayed in this boutique hotel at the beginning of August while being on a business trip. The location is great, I never had to take a taxi for my meetings as a lot of companies have their offices near by. My room was very nice and clean, the bed comfortable. I found out later from the staff at the...

A great hotel, right in the middle of the old town Riga provides the feeling of becoming part of the history. A very cozy hotel with smiling staff members and plenty to do right around the hotel .. all in walking distance. Can't go wrong at the Grand Palace Hotel while in Riga.

My son and I stayed at the Grand Palace for three nights while visiting Riga. The hotel is located on a quiet street on the edge of Riga's Old Town. It is a short stroll to the restaurants and sights of the Old Town or to the river. The splendid Art Nouveau District is further but still is an easy...

I had a room on the 5th floor. It was quite big and really clean. What bothered me was that I could not sleep with the a/c on because from time to time it made a very disturbing sound and I could not sleep with the windows open because of the noise in the street :(. So check your room...
