This hotel stands on a really run down looking street with buildings boarded up and some in the stage of being knocked down. Not a good impression to start with. Then there are twenty steps to climb before entering the main lobby. Here is where the lift starts so the stairs are unavoidable. There is no air conditioning, which when...

Easy to get to this Hotel by public transport or your car (small video monitored by Hotel guard FREE parking lot on the doorstep ++), 2 lifts, bright sunny dining room with good selection for breakfast ( gets crowded with groups - be early or be later). Room large enough for two, bathroom OK ( towel rack is hot -...

No airco, no soundproof. The hotel is overall quite old (like if the last renewal was about 20 years or more ago), but it is in a really good position, clean and with a nice breakfast. Staff is ok, not the most cheerful ever (they don't answer if you say goodmorning). Wifi it is absolutely sloppy and it is difficult...

On the plus side this hotel has lifts, free WiFi, clean sheets and included breakfast. However, we were booked into the hotel on a group tour and were given a very compact room that was stuffy and noisy. Yes there was a TV but no English channels found, a mini bar and safe but the key to them was extra....

We were put in this hotel by a tour group. It is too long a walk from the Old Town. The weather was hot and there is no air con nor fan. If you open the window the traffic noise goes on all night. That said, the place is clean and the breakfast quite good.

The room and the bathroom was large enough for 2 people and the breakfast was ok: international and with a great choice of salty and sweet food. Free WiFi and different connection in each floor. The quality/price was perfect even if the location was not central in the old city. Great for a young couple because we decided to visit...

After staying in some other hotels in Riga on previous trips I was very happy with Hotel Tia. The staff were friendly and professional and the room was very pleasant with separate lounge and toilet and had everything to make my few days in Riga very comfortable . The free internet was reliable and quite fast and my double bed...

We stayed two nights during the 2015 Eurobasket. Location is pretty good - 15 minutes walk to the old town. Breakfest was good but for that price it could be better. The room was clean and nice. Parking is free in front of the hotel but there was only a few spots so it could become a problem.
