Booked for 3 nights in this hotel because it was cheap. Only stayed 2 nights because of: - Noise. You can hear everything this is going on in other rooms and particularly in the corridor. There was a dog in the room down the corridor that repeatedly barked and woke/kept us awake, - Dirty sheets. The sheets were dirty and...

We stayed here this week & had a very nice break in Riga. The hotel was clean & warm, staff very helpful. The breakfast had a good choice of food & favoured teas. The hotel is very convenient for tram number 2 & buses which stop right by the old town although it is a very walkable distance. We would...

So here's the thing. We travel a lot and the last place we stayed was 5* so this wouldn't usually be our thing, but at £89 each for 3 nights including flights it was a cheeky little getaway and we didn't expect much. While I'm not going to kid you that it's comparable to our usual hotel choice it wasn't...

Staff is generally fine, they speak English. When i arrived at the hotel they asked me right away for the money, in cash!! saying that the card terminal was broken. I had to prolong my stay and terminal was still broken and once again they wanted cash. I think it was not polite. I did a bank transfer, but had...

This is a good hotel; clean and friendly. The breakfasts are fine – not the best in the world, but at 4 Euros, they are exceptional value for money: bacon, frankfurters, scrambled eggs, kidney beans and steamed vegetables for the cooked breakfast. There are the usual cereals and porridge and some good quality cooked meats and cheeses. The fruit juices...

We stayed at the hotel as part of a weekend break arranged by a travel agent. I knew from checking TA that this out of town hotel was budget but comfortable, but didn't expect it to be quite so spartan. A narrow single bed with a thin duvet and slippery utilitarian brown bedspread were hardly welcoming. There was only soap...

This hotel was excellent value for money. It was very clean and comfortable. The staff were more than obliging and very helpful with their suggestions as where to visit and how to get there (this being our first experience of Latvia) The hotel does breakfast only but you are able to at least buy a coffee there during the day....
