Booked into the hotel by the best man, and although the outside wasn't hugely impressive, once inside the hotel was delightful. Rooms were very clean and bright, ours had velux windows and two single beds. ( two guys sharing) For the price we all felt it was a good choice and the staff are friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good...

I chose this hotel because of proximity to the office I had to visit, but it is not also too far from old Riga quarters. Monika is located in a very charming neighbourhood, very nice jugendstil and art nouveau houses, lots of cafes and restaurants. Staff was very helpful and friendly, breakfast variety was good enough, room spacious and clean....

It was very random pick by some good didcount, so I had no expectations at all. Appeared to be excellent place in very nice neighbourhood, if you like art deco architecture and such. Plenty of space for paid parking, short walk to the city and soundproof windows...which are very helpful being next to busy road. Breakfast was better than average...

Hotel itself is very nice, rooms are big and comfy, even standard class rooms! Breakfast was great, it had everything one could ever want in a breakfast. An hour of sauna (free) included in...

From the bus station take a tram or bus to avoid paying for a dodgy taxi. Tram 19 and 24 are good. The hotel has pretty much everything including wifi and a hairdryer. Rooms are a bit too small if you have a lot of luggage and breakfast is not of super high standard. Only real con: the pillows are...
