I had to sleep somewhere and this hostel had a place to offer. I slept in a room with 16 beds (high and low, as usual) with 4 friends. The beds were really good and they gave all bedclothes + towel. Showers and toilets were clean and sopa was provided. In the little kitchen you could get coffee and tea...

Well, we were expecting more tigers things;p but the owner in tiger dresses was funny;p anyway the hostel is in excellent location! just next to the station and the old town. In shared rooms there are too many beds in too less space, You're sleeping just next to someone's else face and the only thing that divides You is the...

Due to the reason I was to late for getting another room I booked into the tiger hostel. Reading all the reviews I would rate the hostel a lot better than most people. I got a double room which actually had 3 beds on the first floor toilte and shower is always outside, due to the reason that alle roomes...

Great location. Clean rooms. Wifi not always working. And very impolite staff. They don't bother if you tell them there is no hot shower, but only cold water. Not helpful if you ask anything else either.

Let's start with good points: - localization- really close to old city, shops; - price; - really clean and tidy. And that's generally all good things that I can say about Tiger Hostel in Riga. Disadvantages: - poor equipment in the kitchen (no place to cook, only microwave...); - you need to switch on showers every 10 seconds because it's...

Prior to travelling reading the last review on here and a number of other review I was initially worried we would have made a horrible mistake and would be left in a hell hole. How wrong I was and the purpose of this review is not only to make people staying here feel at ease but also to make people...

As experienced travellers used to hostel and equivalent accommodation in Eastern Europe this hostel was without question the worst experience. Rowdy fellow guests were screaming and laughing until 0530am - exacerbated by non-existent walls - rooms are separated by paper tin partitions, 10 bed dorms are sharing noise with twice as many people. Signs at reception regarding no alcohol policy...

What I expect from Riga is not what I expect from other cities as I go there for dentist only, so I also don't expect the same from Riga hostels as I would elsewhere. Tiger Hostel doesn't have the "coolest" staff and it has never felt like a back-packers place which I usually prefer, but this is just perfect for...

There are rooms across the hall. You have to ring the door bell for reception to open the front door if you wanted to use the kitchen or sit on the sofas in at the front desk. Kitchen had a microwave, refrigerator, and a couple of table of twos. The train station was across the busy street as well as...
