Wonderfully extravagant and slightly decadent in a 1950's sort of way - deliciously large room and exceptionally nice staff. We stayed for two nights in mid October and had the hotel, fall foliage, and town virtually to ourselves. Slovakia has not yet caught up to the trend of a coffee pot in every room, so early risers need to wait...

+ refubrished rooms, very nice + free wi-fi + location in city centre - apart from rooms, everything was very old not very representative, including a grandmother behind the front desk - paid car park between 9-17 - not very comfortable bed - breakfast was like from 1985, still the same - reception located in 1st floor, very strange -...

Despite the photos which seem to indicate these rooms are a little tacky, they all feel brand new. Infact, you wouldn't know you were in a historic building with a brand new bathroom, smart TVs in all rooms and all new furniture and carpets. Breakfast/dinner is served in a cellar, which is also kinda cool, although the breakfast wasn't great...

The hotel is all remodeled; the rooms are modern and very well decorated. Also its location is the best for visiting and enjoying the city. The staff is kind but needing to improve the communication in foreign languages (starting with English).

We had a huge vaulted room with a magnificent Art Deco daybed at the front of the hotel. Unfortunately the curtains had been replaced by some broken translucent blinds which did little to block out the numerous street lights around the square. Levoca Council clearly hasn't been taken over by the Greens as the lights remained on until dawn. The...

We stayed 4 nights with a very attractive package price including delicious dinner each night. Staff payed attention to us like we would have been the only guests in the hotel. Our rooms were very large and we had the most comfortable beds we have ever had in a hotel. Good value for money, food was excellent like home made...

The hotel was a nice experience, although we only stayed for one night. We received a large apartment with two large bedrooms, a kitchen corner with refrigerator and cooking opportunities, a big TV (but only with Slovakian channels unfortunately) and a sofa. I particularly liked the small touches of flowers and pictures, which made the apartment seem more personal. The...

Arkadia is an old fashioned boutique type hotel within a lovely old building with vaulted ceilings. Only a 3 star and that is a fair rating but the room I had was a generous suite with lovely outlook over the square and furnished with period antiques, All for the princely sum of £45 a night ! The towels are still...

The Hotel Arkada was a joy to stay in. There were two prearranged parking spaces in front of the Hotel on the main square. The gentleman at reception was extremely pleasant, accommodating and with a sharp sense of humour. The two couples who had booked a standard double room were immediately upgraded to suites at no extra charge. The suites...

We stayed in Levoca for one night, in between our travels to Bardejov and Spiss castle. We were upgraded to a suite with incredible antique furniture in a room that was massive in size. As a result, it turned out to be pretty great value for our money. The restaurant below was great, with excellent service, in a really cool...
