Located cca 500m from ski slopes. Hidden a bit, but offers free parking close by. Old style, refurbishment could be a good option. Rooms are rather small, just like the bathrooms. Couple places to get together for companies, friends during the night. Table tennis, billiard, soccer table and playroom for littles are available. Staff is friendly and helpful. Food was...

This is a retreat run by a Catholic group aimed toward pilgrims, so it is important to act and behave accordingly. This is a nice place to stay for a night or two- definitely not somewhere you want to stay up drinking or make lots of noise. It was very nice to stay there. The price is good, the food was ok, i was asked vegetarian menu, they cooked just for me! another meal every day, the breakfast wasn't very much to choose but it was good. We stayed in this hotel for a weekend holiday. The hotel is located near the Mariazell center (15 min walk). The rook are spacious, the surrondings are quiet. The breakfast is a basic one. This is the type of simple European hotel that the travel books used to find for us. It is unknown to American travelers.
