Just one night here over the weekend, but was very enjoyable. Very good location although parking is on the very narrow street outside. First impressions are great. Its a lovely and very well restored/modernised, traditional townhouse. Décor is unique and tasteful. The welcome we got could not have been more friendly. Having been offered a cold beer and glass of...

We revisited Tavira House over the May Bank Holiday 2017. There were some changes since our last visit in August 2015, but they were for the better if that is possible. There is still a great sense of the history of the building, beautifully restored. The lay out has improved and the honesty bar in the dining area a welcome...

My husband and I stayed here last summer and were so impressed with the hospitality, our spacious suite, and the overall decor of Tavira House. Every detail was considered and so appreciated. The house itself is stunning and has an interesting back story which our hosts were happy to share over cocktails. The bar set up made us feel very...

We stayed 3 nights in this gorgeous boutique hotel in Tavira and have left feeling we will certainly be back! The warmth of all the staff, the attention to detail make this place truly memorable, we have left feeling relaxed and recharged! The sunny terrace, the honesty bar and the gorgeous breakfast are delightful - I cannot think there would...

We accidentally chose to stay in Tavira on our way from Spain to Portugal - we knew nothing about the town but it was a great place to break the car journey. This accomodation was perfect. The room was small but very modern. The guest lounge is the best I have ever seen. It also has a rooftop deck area...

We stopped in Tavira for just one night, but would have been happy to stay longer. The Tavira House was not at all hard to locate and we did get lucky and found a parking spot right across the street from it, where we left the car for the entire time we were there. Sights and restaurants were within easy...

We've just enjoyed a truly memorable week in this delightful small hotel. Catherine, Christophe and the team are unfailingly friendly and helpful and care about their guests. Our room [Buganvilia] was spacious and spotless, the personal welcome warm and generous, and the breakfasts are imaginative and attractive. The location could not be better especially without a car.

We stayed at Tavira House for one night but would have gladly stayed longer. We arrived later in the evening and the staff were available and made us feel at home quickly. The room itself was uniquely decorated and had both an ornate standing bath tub and walk in shower! The bed was large although a little hard. The rest...

Decent sort of place in a heavily restored building in an area of Tavira, convenient for its centre although not for the motor-car (parking) People running the place seem friendly enough although one got the slight impression they were inexperienced in the running of an hotel - perhaps hampered by the ''design over practicality'' of the building? For example: One...

Wonderful experience in this lovely boutique hotel only a 2 minute walk from main square. The owner, Christophe, met us at the front door and immediately made us feel welcome as if it was our own home. The room was beautifully appointed. Slept great. The bathroom magnificent. The common areas are stunning with jazz playing in the background. Breakfast was...
