The Hotel Oberland is a nice old hotel. The hotel staff were always ready to help. But the building itself was rather quirky. The lack of an elevator wasn't a problem except for hauling our luggage in and out. But I had to constantly duck to avoid hitting my head while walking the stairs. The tub sat up so high...

We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed it. We had a balcony room and it was great view. Its near to the train station and walkable to many a scenic places. There is a bus stop too nearby. Breakfast was included in the room charges and was alright. The one point reduction is because the balcony looked messy. But 4...

Our stay at Hotel Oberland was great! The location was perfect, right in the heart of the Lauterbrunnen Valley. Our room faced the street, was on the top floor with a gorgeous view, and had a balcony with a small table and chairs! The room amenities are typical European, smaller, with an even smaller bathroom, but the beds are comfy...

My husband and I loved our stay in Lauterbrunnen. The whole area is incredibly beautiful with great access to hikes, gondolas, and trains. The hotel was enjoyable with excellent hosts that helped you plan your activities and served a nice breakfast. The dinners we had in the hotel were excellent. We would stay here again.

We stayed here for three nights while in Europe. The hotel is in a great location with views from your balcony! Breakfast and the staff was great - the hotel room was clean and quiet. The hotel also had a room for WIFI access as well. Overall, we would love to stay here again!

We stayed in this hotel 4 years ago, and we were excited at returning. Needless to say we are NOT disappointed in the least! The food here is also excellent. Last time we had a front room facing the street & mountains with the trains coming from the top. This time we have a back room with a view of...

What really makes this hotel is the staff, the owners Mark and Ursula, ably assisted by Louise will do anything for you, arrange trains tickets, advise on attractions and much more. It's Switzerland so everyone speaks English. The public areas of the hotel are modern and well finished, we had a large room with a comfy bed with down quilts,...

This hotel was outstanding. The staff is very helpful with all aspects of your stay in Lauterbrunnen. They also will help with your train and bus tickets which can be purchased in the lobby. The rooms are very clean and everything worked well. The Internet connection in our room was very weak, but the hotel has a very nice sitting...

We have stayed on 4 different trips to Switzerland. Just Great every time. We do a swisspass each time and use this as a hub. We stay here 7 days straight or 2 five days split up. This valley has over 70 waterfalls. We rent an apartment and it is large for Switzerland. Out our back door is massive waterfall...

We stayed in room 35, right across the valley from a waterfall! It was like a fairy-book picture looking out our window! The bathroom was cramped, but otherwise it was a nice room and the hotel is in good condition. No lift, so be ready to climb stairs! Located on the main street, so use your ear plugs for a...
