My husband and I stayed in the very beautiful O'Connor room in Aug 2013. Love the decoration and history of the place. There's a lot of artwork displayed.. it gives the place a very different character as compared to other B&B. We totally enjoyed staying our night here. Breakfast was simple yet delicious. The location is near to Freemantle prison....

We stayed in the English suite and thoroughly enjoyed very minute of our stay. Susie the manager was terrific, the accommodation was very comfortable and exactly what we were looking for. A place of character, very tastefully decorated. Excellent location for exploring Fremantle on foot or on the free red bus. The breakfast is a must have. We would definitely...

Lovely place and conveniently close to the prison and Fremantle markets, which are great things to go an see while staying in Fremantle. By close I mean within easy walking distance 5-10 mins down hill, of course you will need to walk back up hill to get back but that is how you stay fit and healthy.

From the moment you arrive, this place is a feast for the eyes and bursting with character and art. Full of sculptures and paintings there is plenty to look at. The dining area was gorgeous with it's high ceiling and black & white checkered floor. The Endeavour Room has as separate full size bathroom and access to a balcony and...

We stayed here for 2 nights during end Apr before heading off to Margaret River. We chose this place for a experience that is different from the usual hotels. This is a very unique place with much character, and provides us with a different experience compared to modern hotels. It is very clear that the owner puts in a lot...

We arrived late and there was a key safe at the front door which worked great. Great sleep, awesome breakfast. Good location, we where right beside the Fremantle Prison. We where very lucky as they had a fund raiser the 2nd night we where there and it was a small group of Buskers performing in the back yard of Fothergills....

We chose Fothergills of Fremantle due to the close proximity to the Fremantle Prison. We had an evening corporate function at the Old Prison and it was just a short stroll back to our accommodation. We reserved the Holdsworth Room.... however we had a problem with our TV reception in the room. Without any fuss, we were upgraded to a...

My friend and I came down to Fremantle from Perth for the weekend for a break. What a beautiful setting and a lovely house. Our rooms were wonderful and had every little extra you could think of. I felt right at home in the Endeavour room with ensuite and my friend had the English Room which she thoroughly enjoyed too....

Rooms are available to suit all tastes except for those craving modern boutique accommodation. Fothergills retains a vintage charm and feels less like a B&B than a town house. The Artwork was interesting. In the Samson room we felt that we had the run of the place what with the outside balcony and our own adjacent library. The ensuite was...

We spent only one night here but would have liked to stay a bit longer. We were in Samson room, which is upstairs on the balcony at the front with views over Fremantle and out to sea. Arrived just in time for sunset. The room had a real period feel, but was very comfortable. The breakfast spread was really impressive....
