We found the 'hotel' very strange. It doesn't have a kitchen so I wouldn't recommend as a hostel, but it has shared bathrooms so I wouldn't associate it as a hotel.... The positives- The rooms were small, basic (I.e a bed, a lamp and a fan) but very clean, the bathroom facilities were modern and clean. The main issue for...

Needed a place to stay to get over jetlag. The hotel doesnt look like much from the outside but once you get inside its a beautiful colonial building. Very nicely renovated. Good outside area at the back. Beautiful pub and close to the centre. Easy access to eating places and shops. Perfect if you want to take a cruise on...

As someone has said "Don't Judge A Book By It's Cover" the inside has be renovated and is excellent, rooms are comfortable and close to Fremantle port and city centre. The only downside for us was we saw they advertised a new menu with excellent prices so we came back to the hotel for dinner at around 6.30pm to be...

The hotel is well situated in the heart of Freemantle, great car park facility we had around 15 motorcycles and 4 wd vehicles and they were secure in this car park, we were able to park some bikes in the beer garden behind another gate as well. The bar was good nice beers and good pints. Didn't try the food...

This historical hotal has recently been renovated in a way which accentuates its charm - the high ceilings, stained glass windows, sweeping staircase. Someone has made a real effort to make the place cosy and welcoming. There may not be tea & coffee facilities in the rooms, but there is a large common dining room with an urn, a fridge...

I had been looking for good value, cheap accomodation and I found it. I stayed in this hotel for four nights from 15 - 19th December, The room was newly carpeted, the bed and bedding were new and the room had been recently repainted retaining the original lighting and an overhead fan that was new. The entry was by card....

If you are attending a conference or doing business in central Fremantle, this is an economical option, but certainly not luxurious. My single bed was comfortable and the combination of tall ceilings, ceiling fans and windows that could be locked partly open meant that my room remained cool and breezy on hot days. The hotel is very handy to the...

... that's the sign on the window of this hotel which has just re-opened after renovation but as outside redecoration has not yet been completed it would be so easy to pass by and miss a real gem. This was something of a sentimental journey for us, we stopped for the day in Fremantle 40 years ago on our way...
