Everybody needs to visit this place. The food is out of this world and the service was top class also. Portion sizes Very generous...Juliana(the chef) came out and made sure our food was how we wanted it. We also stayed in the Modern Suite which would rival any suite around the world. Very reasonably priced too.

What a venue We had the modern suite, we were the only people in the whole house. Bring out of season, the actual house & restaurant close; but Laura welcomed us wonderfully. An open fire on a freezing night; really comfy bed, and magnificent bathroom made for a lovely evening & night. Then this morning, the most superb breakfast. We...

Wonderful stay at Escape to Picton. The staff was very welcoming, the room was exceptional, probably the best room my wife and I stayed in on our honeymoon. The bedroom was so spacious and the ensuite bathroom was lovely and thoroughly well-kitted out. The hotel was in a great location near to the harbour area and the food served by...

Myself and my wife had the most fantastic time at Escape to Picton. Firstly, it's ideally placed to explore the town and next to the harbour where we were able to kayak and trek around the Sounds which was stunning. We were treated fantastically in the hotel, exceptionally well looked after which we very much appreciated. Our room was huge,...

There is sverything you need, and more, from the complementary drink on arrival to the delicious petit fours ( also complimentary). The bathroom has a great shower and a huge free standing bath. Everything is decorated with excellent taste in a kind...

I think I was so lucky to book stay in this lovely three rooms hotel. I wasn't planning to stay in Picton on my way to the South, but luckily I did. It's a very classic hotel in a house owned by a very friendly family ( I met the father, mother, son and spent a lovely night with the...

We stayed at Escape to Picton for 3 nights in Feb 2016. It is perfectly located around the corner (200-300 mtrs approx) from a hotel and other cafes - meaning we were much less likely to be disturbed by outside noises. It is across the road from the marina and there are views of the harbour from the windows. The...
