This is my third stay at Jugglers Rest and I will definitley be back again. Great atmosphere, cozy and relaxing. The staff are always happy to help. A very clean hostel and very comfortable beds! One of the best backpackers I've ever stayed in!!! I would HIGHLY reccommend. :-)

Had an amazing stay with my partner. Cozy fire roaring when we arrived on a cold rainy night. Cuddly cat and a well stocked kitchen. Had some great talks with the owners and had a go at juggling too. Loved every minute! Good shower and bed and superb characters filling the time. Id recommend anyone going into or through picton...

I have travelled lots and stayed in nice backpackers BUT this one is the most homely amazing energy and relaxing one. The beds are super comfortable and the kitchen is the best place to finally drag out all your food and back a delicious feast! They have all this delicious homemade jam and fresh bread for breakfast! Mmmm it's just...

This place is just super folks We stayed here after 10 days in the camper and we couldn't have picked a better place the couple that run it are the best, we ended up having drinks with them and they got us the most beautiful cottage for our 2nd nite

It is a really good place to hangout, with lots of cool stuff to play with and the most chilled out cat ever. Really nice for me was the shower cause I´m 2 meters tall and could stand under it ! If I could cook i could also have used their 1000 herbs in the garden

We stayed here 3 nights and had a great time. Even if the weather was bad we enjoyed feeling like at home while taking a bath or just enjoying the company. We had a great concert during our stay and met really nice people. I really enjoyed the creative atmosphere with lots of instruments and juggling staff to play with....

We had a great stay at Jugglers rest! Bruce (a very tall man, with an even bigger personality) made sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The room was spacious and clean. We were able to make dinner with tasty homegrown tomatoes, chillies, and chard, and then had buckets of Feijoas for dessert! The location is great...

Stayed at the Juggler's rest 2 times for a night and loved it. On my first night when coming to the south island I decided straight away I would stay again before taking the return ferry. The house feels very cosy and like a real home. Great kitchen, very clean bathrooms and very snuggly beds to sleep in. I had...

My girlfriend and I had been travelling in a car for a while and were missing a "home" and a bed for a night, we found Jugglers Rest online and decided to give it a go! Loved how Bruce welcomed us and showed us around, all the herbs, fruits, spices that we could use, the nice and cosy "chalet", the...

After a very long day of travel we arrived at the jugglers rest weary and lethargic, but our mood was instantly transformed the moment we were welcomed in the door. I have stayed in countless hostels but I have never found one to compare to the jugglers rest. The lively atmosphere was contagious and a combination of live music, a...
