This little park is the first one we have visited in NZ that ticks all the boxes. Though small, grounds are clean and location is so convenient close to ferry and groceries etc.. The kitchen/lounge is perfectly stocked with everything you might need; heaps of equipment like pots and pans, plates and cutlery, cleaning sponges and detergent. Also had two...

Stayed here in our rental campervan the night of the earthquake. We went to the park directly from disembarking the ferry at noon. We got set up and walked into town. It is a nice easy stroll to town and all the cute shops and restaurants. The bathroom was spotless and the first one I didn't feel compelled to wear...

This is a relatively small site within a few minutes drive of the ferry and is a clean, neatly kept and tidy site. The facilities are good, having washing machine & driers, kitchen, common room, dump site and the showers were hot clean and well appointed.

Good value and the place is so so clean we stayed here the night of the recent earthquake and the couple running the place were most helpful the following morning wen our ferry was cancelled and accomafated is for another night. The facilities were very clean and well kept. The cabins were small but cosy and comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly. Only a short walk into town. Very beautiful little place. Would recommend the walks around the beach and surrounding area.

This small camper van park is very convenient if you are leaving early or arriving late on the Cook Strait ferry. The facilities are spotlessly clean and well maintained. Connection points have electricity and water. Good laundry and shower/bathroom facilities.

Staff were very helpful from the phone call through to assisting us in the dark to get sorted. Very friendly. Bathroom areas were warm, with no cold concrete floors, the shower cubicles were well set up, with no draughts.

Even though this park meets all other reviews I have read of it I consider it to be rather overpriced for what is provided. Promoted on another websites at $36 per night for a campervan with 2 people, but were charged $42.50 less Kiwi Park discount. They say that they are dog friendly but you are not allowed to walk...

This small park would have to be one of the best presented in New Zealand. A professional and efficient front desk, spotless facilities, comfortable cabin with fresh linen. Well maintained grounds. Close to the township which has many nice cafes. Only stayed one night as we were travelling onto Christchurch but considered this a worthy haven.

Stayed here before catching an early ferry and it was a lovely little site. The facilities were really good and the owner very helpful. It's just a 10 minute walk into town and so close to the ferry that it is ideal. This has to be your choice if you are staying in Picton.
