We stayed at the Villa for one night before leaving for Queen Charlotte track. The staff were very friendly and accommodating as soon as we walked in and gave us amazing advice about the area as well as a free place to store some stuff while we were hiking. The hostel has a very funky feel to it and everything...

It smelled terribly. Apparenly it was already used several times. Floor in our room was ditry. I didnt dare stepping into the bathroom without...

I'm very sorry to hear you had a bad stay on your trip through Picton. All of our linen is indeed washed and changed every day, no exceptions. We are in the process of updating our duvet covers in the dorm rooms but again these covers are clean despite looking a bit older. I am disappointed to hear you were...

If you do not know where to back pack in Picton, this is the place, old looking house, nice people, free dessert at 8pm, guitars and nice terrace are at the rendez vous. Was a nice stay and it was too short either.

My partner and I stayed in a double room in the main building in September and it was freeeezzzzzing !!! Never been so cold in my life despite wearing multiple layers of clothing and woolly hat going to bed. Bed clothes were very thin, needed to make use of the free hot water bottles they offered. However, the dorm rooms...

Hello and thank you for your review. I'm so sorry to hear that the room was cold, we do try to provide heaters in all of our rooms during the cold months, especially in our double rooms. We also have spare heaters at reception that we hand out upon request so I apologize again that you were left cold. I...

Great little place with a very cosy atmosphere. They were in the middle of some renovations to update the place. Staff were super nice all the time and very helpful when I needed info on hikes and the track. Great outdoor space to spend sunny days. Free apple crumble in winter was a nice touch :)

I've spent here a week, and I've felt like home, everybody, staff and guests is so welcoming and friendly. In addition to this perfect amosphere, they serve the best apple crumble in New Zeland The sea here is very cold, so you can take a bath in the hot tub, and then play pool, play the guitar, go to a...
