This was by far the nicest place we stayed in New Zealand! Take the ferry from Wellington to another era at Picton port. The Sennen Victorian mansion/farmhouse has been beautifully restored, and the hosts know how to make a person feel pampered with plush bedding, robes, beautiful china, and fresh home-baked bread delivered to our terrace every morning. Between the...

We arrived in Picton as our base to explore the Marlborough wine region. We chose the Sennen House because the accommodations downtown seemed a little run of the mill. The hosts Don and Stephanie are great people, Don even picked us up at the ferry. The Inn is set amongst a resdential area but once you enter the gates it...

We would highly recommend a stay at this wonderful accommodation either on arrival into Picton or before your departure to Wellington. Don and Stephanie were superb hosts, nothing was too much trouble for them. Very welcoming, Don even insisted on carrying our bags to our room. The room was extremely comfortable, grand but homely. Our table was set ready for...

Spacious, clean and well furnished rooms, excellent breakfast and fantastic hosts. The house is beautiful and located at ten minutes walk from the harbor. Ideal for a late arrival with the ferry from Wellington.

This quaint Victorian home is set on the edge of town within easy walking distance to the wharf and downtown restaurants. The hosts are the nicest people we've met in NZ. They helped us with plans for the day's activities as well as routes. Jerry, the sheep, and the two dogs also made us feel at home. The suite was...

A brilliant holiday destination. Superb accommodation Beautiful and close to the town, wineries and wonderful restaurants. The best part are the fantastic hosts Don and Steph. Nothing is too much trouble and the rooms are perfect. Clean and oh so comfortable. The only place to stay in Picton.

My wife and I spent 3 nights at Sennen House on our trip through New Zealand. Don and Stephanie who own Sennen House were very nice and accommodating. The room that we rented had a living area and a separate bedroom with 2 bathrooms. There was an L shaped balcony that was quite private and pleasant to relax on. The...

The Sennen House and grounds are spectacular, and a short walk from town. The hosts, Don and Stephanie, could not be more accommodating. They helped with all our needs (cold medicine for our daughter, an early departure to catch a ferry), and always with a smile. Strongly recommend for anyone visiting Picton or the Marlborough region.

Had the pleasure of spending 4 amazing nights here in this beautiful B&B. Wonderful friendly hosts, lovely fresh bread and treats delivered to your room each morning and a very friendly resident sheep! Room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean, with an outdoor deck and kitchenette. Free parking and a short drive to the town centre / Interislander Ferry. Free...
