My partner and two wee doggies had the pleasure of having 3 nights stay at Punga Lodge. Everything was very nice. The Chalet we had with our two wee 4 legged children was most accommodating and very comfortable. The service was just lovely and a...More

The Lodge is located just off the road but down from it so there is very little road noise and anyway the rooms open out onto the bush so you have the cicadas to provide a far more pleasant background. The beach and the town...More

Great value for money! So warm and welcoming, felt very cozy. The location is terrific! Far enough away from the town to feel on an island but close enough to walk to cafes and restaurants with ease, either on the roads or around the rocks...More

Hi Dyan, I don't know if you will remember us ? We came to stay with you with our little dog Candy last November where we attended our dear friends funeral. Our friends are visiting from UK and they have been booked in with you on 27/28 th January. Our Friend, Bernice Burge booked them in. This is a long shot but do you have a dog friendly room available them two nights? Dear Bernice is in hospital, desperately ill. I've just had a call from her friend and IF she comes out of hospital I don't want her having to worry about us. She is in hospital in Auckland and we would visit her on our way over and back. Bernices health has been failing fast so it's a bit of a shock. I'm just unsure what to do. Whether to still come with our guests as ferry booked and you're booked. So just thought I'd ask on the off chance. We're not fussy at anything would do. I just don't want to add stress to Bernice if she does get home and want to see her, probably for the last time. If you don't have any dog friendly rooms I will know what direction to go in. We may even need to cancel our friends two nights (obviously at our expense). Apologies fir mumbled message. Wendy Hinde

Thank you for your interest. We do have limited parking at Punga Lodge but ensure that those who indicate they need parking first, do get parking. So if you are interested in booking now for March, there won't be a problem... More
