It was such a delight to stay in this cosy lodge, the owner Dyan is one of the most hospital person I have ever met. She not only gave us choices of rooms then upgraded us to this lovely huge apartment. Her sweet treats are...More

I was immediately taken with the environment as soon as I arrived - a cosy wooden house hidden in the trees with decks & views. Dyan was a wonderful hostess & gave me lovely tea & cake when I arrived. The following morning I had...More

Again, we just made immediate decision to go to Waiheke Island. Took our rented car on the ferry and googled away the accommodation there but could not concentrate as the view is soooo scenic. When arrived, just drove around and found Punga Lodge. There were...More

We had an amazing time. Dyan and Rob were lovely, very welcoming! Dyan's baking was incredible! They were both very friendly and helpful :) Definitely Recommend Punga Lodge! Loved the outdoor feeling, with the rainforest right at your door and the pet friendly environment!

Hi Dyan, I don't know if you will remember us ? We came to stay with you with our little dog Candy last November where we attended our dear friends funeral. Our friends are visiting from UK and they have been booked in with you on 27/28 th January. Our Friend, Bernice Burge booked them in. This is a long shot but do you have a dog friendly room available them two nights? Dear Bernice is in hospital, desperately ill. I've just had a call from her friend and IF she comes out of hospital I don't want her having to worry about us. She is in hospital in Auckland and we would visit her on our way over and back. Bernices health has been failing fast so it's a bit of a shock. I'm just unsure what to do. Whether to still come with our guests as ferry booked and you're booked. So just thought I'd ask on the off chance. We're not fussy at anything would do. I just don't want to add stress to Bernice if she does get home and want to see her, probably for the last time. If you don't have any dog friendly rooms I will know what direction to go in. We may even need to cancel our friends two nights (obviously at our expense). Apologies fir mumbled message. Wendy Hinde

Thank you for your interest. We do have limited parking at Punga Lodge but ensure that those who indicate they need parking first, do get parking. So if you are interested in booking now for March, there won't be a problem... More
