This venue presents a real problem. I am usually the harshest of critics, something must be exceptional for me to give it 5 Stars. Well what do I do? The Boatshed changes everything. Can I give 10 Stars?! If 5 is the maximum then everything else needs to move down 1000%. The accommodation, the food, the service, all perfect. There...

Just back from an overnight stay at the Boatshed. We were blessed by the weather gods and had a perfect few days on Waiheke. We stayed in one of the 3 'boatsheds' and loved it. Compact but it has everything you need and is very tastefully decorated. Loved the Cape Cod chairs out front which were completely private. Didn't think...

We recently stayed at the Boatshed for 3 nights and we really enjoyed everything about it. We travelled to Waiheke Island by helicopter from the airport and it was a spectacular flight - highly recommend this as a way to arrive. On arrival at the Boat Shed we were greeted with a cheese plate and a glass of wine -...

If you are going to Waiheke Island of Wine consider staying at The Boatshed. I was looked after like a queen and loved my room and it's comforts - liquorice allsorts and Anzac biscuits :) Thank you Jonathon, Victoria, Lily, Fred and staff for making my stay so memorable. Breakfasts were delicious as was lunch and dinner. The view is...

Stayed here for three nights before starting our road trip of both Islands. Beautiful place, fantastic views and lovely food outside with an open fire to keep us warm. The staff are more than willing to help and gave us lifts to the ferry terminal and one of the wineries. The Fenice Cafe and Restaurant in Oneroa is to be...

Three generations ranging from 21-90 stayed for 2 nights ( not long enough) and it was the most beautiful place to be. Lovely staff who could not do enough or us, fabulous fresh, food and amazing views and feeling of peace all around. Rooms were homely but luxurious. All environmentally conscious initiatives too. Really happy and was sad to leave....

This is a small luxury hotel which does not look like a hotel, exactly what we were looking for. This is a hotel with personalised, faultless and friendly service. This is an expensive hotel but worth every dollar. We were picked up at the ferry at noon and welcome by all the staff. While our room was prepared, we were...

We booked a two-night Romantic package and stayed in one of the bungalows on the property. The meals were superb and the fresh vegetable and herbs from their kitchen garden were delightful. All the staff were polite, efficient and friendly. Our room had a view to the beach and it was comfortable in every way. Enjoyed every moment of our...
