We were a party of 2 couples staying 2 nights. Kathy & John are excellent hosts providing as much service & information as expected and more. Breakfasts are brilliant and plentiful. Beds are comfortable. Bathroom and toilet are spotless & well stocked although the separate toilet is just outside the unit's main door. A car is highly desirable here as...

Had an amazing stay at Iluka this weekend. Thanks to Kathy and John for their excellent hospitality, incredible breakfast and organising our car and dinner at Te Whau. The house is lovely, comfy bed, great views from the balcony at breakfast and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Kathy and John couldn't do enough for us and all their recommendations were wonderful....

Kathy and John are wonderful. When you stay here you are their guest and you are staying in a B&B that feels like a home. We visited that placed a 2nd time and I can't say enough about how much we loved staying with them. The breakfast with the view to the see is really delicious!

We went to Waiheke for a quick escape from a drizzly winter. Kathy and John are such special people and really made us feel at home. The suite is fantastic. Bed sumptuous. Everything one could possibly need is located in the suite. From first aid kit in the bathroom cabinet, sky tv, music system, terrific magazines to read, and home...

Only stayed for one night, was a great experience though. Would have happily stayed for a week if time permitted. Such a tranquil relaxed two days. Staying with Kathy and John just complemented the experience of visiting Waiheke, the whole experience was like a home away from home. Kathy and John are a really great couple and I had a...

The hosts are a lovely, caring and warm couple, who make you feel like at home the whole time. The house is beautiful and the suite is fabulously decorated and equiped. Complementary coffee, tea and even biscuits! The breakfast is absolutely divine. They offer the option of car rental which was very convenient for us, we were greeted and picked...

Iluka is run by Kathy & John and it is obvious they love their home and love guests! Everything about the place speaks of comfort and care. We were 3 ladies from Auckland having a break and Waiheke by fast ferry is ideal. One of our party had been there before and highly recommended it. Kathy & John greeted us...

Kathy & John are the ultimate good hosts, who have thought of anything you might need before you ever thought of it. Coming from the U.S. we were a little the worse for wear, driving on 'the wrong side of the road', etc. Experiencing New Zealand really IS seeing the best that nature has to offer-including the fact that no...

We stayed at Iluka just after Easter for 3 nights with our 2 yr old son. We couldn't have been happier with the accommodation and helpful friendly hosts. The quality and attention to detail was second to none, from the linen to the delicious cooked breakfast. We would gladly return!
