We stayed here for three nights in February, and enjoyed every second. Daniela, the owner of the property was very friendly and professional, and was eager to share her knowledge of things to do and places to go. We spent a fabulous day horse-riding at the recommendation of Daniela. The hostal is perfectly situated, the rooms airy and clean, with...

We stayed for two nights with our parents and our one year old daughter. We loved sitting out on the deck in front of the rooms and listening to the music coming from the city center. Breakfast was really good and Dani has great advice on what to do and where to go.

We loved our stay at Hostal Alameda. The casa is beautifully restored with a feel of understated elegance - it gave us plenty of interior design ideas! The gardens are lush and green and there's a terrace to relax on - it's a real oasis in the heart of Trinidad (right by the main square) We were served a lovely...

Very nice location, beautifully decorated with magnificent courtyard. This is a green oasis in the middle of ancient Trinidad. Guest bedrooms are above and toward the back of the building, and feature a large covered veranda with an open area beyond. The view on the roofs of Trinidad is nice. Bedroom and in-suite bathroom are nice and clean. The 2...

Dani is a lovely lady and the room is very comfortable. There are only two rooms for rent and they are on the second floor with a big terrace. The garden is beautiful with a lot of fruit trees and flowers. There is no A/C, but a fan is enough for us and there is no mosquito. Her phone number...

A beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated home, with an open floorplan looking out on a lovely and verdant courtyard. Guest bedrooms are above and toward the back of the building, and feature a large covered veranda with an open area beyond. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts on a patio just off the courtyard, watching lizards and birds move about. Lunches and...

Danielle is lovely, excellent advise what To do. Rooms are very nice, and location is right in the centre. Very advisable to have à stay there. Don't book the wrong hostal. Apparently people have been "lending" the name.

Hostal Alameda is a marvellous house with a mini subtropical climate. Within the house there are many trees, and beautiful plants which attracts all sorts of birds. The house itself is very old yet nicely renovated with pastel colours which makes the place seem like a natural habitat. A lovely place in the heart of Trinidad. The host, Danielle has...

I was wandering the streets looking for somewhere to stay when I knocked on Daniela's door - normally her place is pretty much booked out but I was very lucky and was able to stay for five nights. Overlooking the roofs of Trinidad and depending which of the two rooms you have even seeing the ocean (I had the fabulous...
