Exterior photograph of this casa simply don’t do it justice. Hostal Buri y Nesti is centrally located roughly half way between the Plaza Mayor (the main tourist centre and evening mecca for visitors) and the Plaza Carillo (heaving with locals during the day and overlooked by the Iberostar hotel if you need an internet fix). Situated on the Calle Maceo...

A simple building from outside, like so many buildings, on a cobbled street. Parking across the road. Enter the main door to a wonderful traditional cool entrance room. Beyond is a large area with a bar where your host will make fresh mojitos to be drunk on the roof, whilst taking in the views. Beyond the bar is a wonderful...

After staying in a distinctly 'average' hotel in Havana this lovely Casa was so welcoming and we were delighted to be staying there. The 2 guest rooms are clean and comfortable and each one has a double and a single bed which makes them really flexible. The bathrooms are spotlessly clean and there is plenty of hot water. Breakfast is...

Get beyond the (not very inviting) old doors and you're in a delightful house built around a small courtyard. Welcoming family (they don't speak any english - take your phase book or google translate). Buri mixes a mean cocktail served on the roof terrace and Nesti makes great breakfasts. Parking is on the street but apparently there is CCTV monitoring.

Family holiday with our two kids. Excellent casa which hit all the right notes. Clean, kind hosts, in the middle of Trinidad, super comfy beds and great breakfast! Can warmly recommend!!! To be honest, felt more luxurious than many hotels we stayed at before.

After staying in a disgusting casa in Havana, this was the true experience: just how a casa should be: staying with, but separate from, a family; spotlessly clean, everything worked; the hosts were wonderful; mojitos on the roof terrace with views over Trinidad and mountains at sunset were very special. Well done!

Having spent a couple of weeks travelling around the country enjoying a variety of hostals some more 'interesting' than others, we were thrilled to find Bury y Nesta, it is clean, everything works, our hosts could not have been more helpful and kind. It rained and it rained very heavily, but we felt very well looked after, coming in from...

A wonderful experience where we were welcomed and greeted by the owner. We weren't greeted at the coach station but most knew of the hotel so we were able to find it. Fully stocked bar and other great features such as the wonderful roof top terrace with sun loungers and dog Chocolate! Breakfast was great and lots on the menu,...

Buri and Nesti treated us so well in their lovely home. Rooms were very comfortable and clean and both had air conditioning (vital in August!). They made us and our 3 sons feel incredibly welcome and couldn't do enough for us - from arranging a private salsa lesson on their patio to noticing that is was my birthday and providing...

Unexpected surprise! As there is some issues with our intended stay in Trinidad, our travel agent change to this Casa for us and we LOVED it!!! Very centrally located and next to the best restaurant - San Jose in town, the interior of the Casa just blew our minds away when we stepped in from the outside. The garden is...
