I loved Trinidad as a place and Casa Meyer was a great base to explore it. Our room was large and spacious, the garden gorgeous and the breakfast very good. Our host Ale was nice, with very good English, which was great as my Spanish isn't so good! I would definitely recommend this Casa!

I spent two nights at Casa Meyer, a peaceful refuge from the tourist crowds, if you can ignore the thumping drums from the "Beatles" nightclub across the street. The casa should outlive that nightclub and then its location will be ideal. The owners went out of their way to be helpful. Their garden is truly delightful, and breakfast there was...

This is a beautiful colonial house with a lovely garden. Big beautiful room and clean. We enjoyed the breakfast while we were sitting in the garden. Very nice family. Close to the centre and casa de musica. We loved trinidad!

I stayed at Casa Meyer with my girlfriend for four nights in Dec 2014. It was the best place we stayed while in Cuba. The location is ideal. The casa itself is a colonial house located in the historic centre of the city. Our room was private and located off of the courtyard, which has a beautiful and tranquil garden...

I stayed 3 nights in this beautiful Casa. A very nice welcome of the lady. I got a perfect room and bathroom. The deliciousand rich breakfast was served in the garden, where also was a nice place to read at night. The casa is very close to the Plaza Mayor with nice restaurants and the Viazul busstation. I liked the...

Stayed here with my girlfriend in November. It is located right beside the Viazul bus station and Alejandro and his mum speak good English. Our room was so beautiful with really high ceilings and it was seperate from the main house. There was also two lovely rocking chairs out front which we relaxed on at night with a glass of...

Casa Meyer was a great place to stay and helped to make Trinidad the highlight of our trip. Our guestroom was separate from the main house with direct access onto the garden, giving us a bit of added privacy. At the same time, the family and pets were often in the garden, which provided lots of opportunity to say hello....

We really loved this Casa! As others reviewers have said, Alejandro and Mercedes made us feel incredibly welcome but also let us get on and didn't hover or make us feel uncomfortable. Breakfast was gorgeous - sitting on the verandah, watching the morning haze rise, the hummingbirds flitting around and enjoying the silence of the day. Cliched indeed, but the...

We booked this place after reading reviews on trip advisor, excellent location – 5min walk from the central square in Trinidad. The host Alejandro and his family were very welcoming and had excellent English. They helped us organize our day trips including horseback riding to the water falls and a day trip to the beach. The food was excellent, delicious...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Casa Meyer is located in the historic center of the city, near all the museums, and old squares and just 2 min walking from the bus station. Since the building was built at the beginning of the XIX century, its design and original structure have almost not changed, letting the house retains its colonial atmosphere, with an inner patio with ornamental plants and surrounded by porches, where you can rest during the warm trinitarian afternoons. We rent 2 beautifull colonial style rooms, each with windows, through wich you have a nice view of the garden, both rooms have AC and privated bathroom with cold/hot water. We can recommend the best places and opportunities that you may find in Trinidad. ... more   less
