We are so amazed by this fantastic place! The location couldn't be better, and the price is well worth the money! You are just a step away from all what Trinidad has to offer, everything in walking distanse, and off course the great and lovely owners - Mara & Bernardo. They are so pleasurable and easy to talk with, no...

My friend and I absolutely loved our stay at Casa El Tulipan. We were lucky enough to be able to visit Cuba for 6 weeks and we stayed only in casas, so we really got a good idea of what that's like. All of them are great because they are all so different but CASA El TULIPAN IS THE BEST....

All the casas paticulares we stayed in in Cuba were clean and pleasant but this tulip-themed casa was by far the nicest. The rooms form a small apartment above the main house so there is a nice double bedroom and a sofabed + kitchen area (the only time in Cuba we had access to a kitchen). There are plenty of...

Everything about this casa is incredible! We stayed here for 3 nights, and if we could have stayed for longer, we would have. Mara and Bernado are the loveliest hosts you could ask for. They made us feel like family the minute we got to their house, and within 20 minutes of speaking to them they had already helped us...

The room consists of an apartment above the owners (the wonderful Mara & Bernardo)- lovely bedroom, sitting room/kitchen, bathroom and the most fantastic terrace. Perfect for people watching- a hammock to relax and breakfasts (the best we had in Cuba) in tranquility. Mara & Bernardo were wonderful hosts- organised many things for us including salsa classes, horse-riding and great advice...

We stayed at Casa El Tulipan in Trinidad for three nights on our two week trip around Cuba. El Tulipan was by far the best casa we stayed in on our trip. The private apartment was a lovely and tranquil escape away from the busy streets of Trinidad and the roof top terrace was a perfect spot for people watching....

What a great casa! You have the whole top floor to yourself, with a terrace that overlooks the street. The room is very comfortable with a separate lounge and cooking area, fridge, aircon, fans and private bathroom. It's about a 5 minute easy walk to the heart of Trinidad, which is great as you can see the local neighbourhoods and...

What a wonderful place to spend 5 days in Trinidad. From the correspondence beforehand to the moment we arrived Mara and Bernardo welcomed us into their home in such a warm and friendly way, we felt instantly comfortable. The casa itself is charming, you have the whole of the top floor to yourself with a bedroom, bathroom, living room and...

We drove around Cuba for two weeks, staying exclusively in Casas Particulares. Nowhere did we encounter such hospitality as at El Tulipan, hosted by Bernado and Marga. Although the amenities at El Tulipan were above the norm (layout, decor, storage space and attention to detail of the independent apartment), it is the hosts who make the difference. They could not...

What a great few days we had in Trinidad. We stayed in Casa El Tulipan with Bernardo and Marja who couldn't have done more to help us while we were there. The accommodation is the upper floor comprising a bedroom, living room/kitchenette and bathroom. Air con and fans helped cool us down but the winning factor for us was the...
