We had a hire car & drove in quite easily. The road was fine & dry. We had a great time here and 2 nights was not enough to unwind fully but it was enough time to do almost everything the island has to offer, at a relaxed pace. It was TOO hot to walk so we drove everywhere &...

Very nice small (12 rooms only) hotel - villa on small cayo which is full of animals. Rooms are very very nice for cuban standard, very spacy and whole hotel complex is well equipped, and very quiet. We arrived by car from Baracoa, wow, this is crazy during first 50km road between Baracoa and Moa (driving speed like 20kmph max)....

To get to hotel you have that sinking feeling as you leave civilization behind, then get onto a dirt track, then a tropical storm, the roads flooded, road slippery, not certain of what to come. Oh boy what a Hotel, by Cuban standards this is 5 star and a bit, Staff are welcoming, smiling and happy to help. Rooms are...

It is the second time I visited this place, and I again enjoyed it greatly. The beach I could only to compare to Playa Pilar in Cayo Gillermo, and one can have all to them. (Except a short period in day, when tourists from Holguin arrive in a catamaran.) Great nature reserve, etc. solitude and nature. Strausses and zebras. Iguanas...

We had booked 2 nights at this hotel, but discovered when we arrived that we had booked through a fraudulent website, so you might wish to use their official link even though it takes several days for them to confirm the booking. Fortunately we could stay one night, and we had a wonderful time: Pluses: - Nice safe sandy beach...

Imagine being on a private island alone with fabulously pristine beaches and with camels, antelopes, buffalos, oastriches, peacocks roaming around. We felt like in a very surrealistic movie. There were 4 tourists in the government run hotel (including us) and 65cuc for a private house seamed to be a pretty good deal for what we got. (For record we are...

The island is wonderful and the hotel's surrounding are amazing: the island is a natural park with a lot of exotic animals that graze freely all around. My daughters loved to see zebra, ostrich, antelopes, gazelles, iguanas, etc. With a 10min drive from the hotel you can reach a marvellous beach with a nice bar (managed by the hotel). That...

“We my wife and two friends have been in Villa Cayo Saetia on 03 March 2012 for only two nights, thats was a pity because the place is wonderful, quite and is very different from other place in Cuba. I think that this Cayo deserves to spend at least a week if you are a person that like the nature and the pure quite.”
