We really enjoyed staying in this modern hotel, a lovely experience. We loved the feel of the room and the staff very extremely helpful and super friendly. Plus the hotel is in a great location as it is in walking distance to restaurants and the National Mall.
The hotel is perfect! We had the loft bunk and it was perfect for us. It is a great location, walking distance to monuments and a short walk to a metro station. We also walked to Georgetown, as it was not too far of a walk for us. The hotel staff was great. Brooke helped us with check in and gave us food suggestions and was great throughout our entire stay. The &Pizza on location is great and the staff there was friendly as well. I definitely recommend this hotel and hope to stay again in the future!
First time in DC, this was a fantastic location to start with, felt really save on the area and was walking distance from National Mall. The pizza place is great, and there are other great restaurants and coffee shops to eat nearby. The service from people on Hive was wonderful.
Overall this place was awesome! The rooftop bar is great, the drinks are awesome, and the staff—for the most part—were incredibly helpful and friendly. The one thing that I was confused by was the morning breakfast from 6-8am which was not always ready. When I asked staff I for conflicting responses. No big deal, I just appreciate knowing what’s included so I can count on it before work. Thank you for an overall great stay
This is a nice, newly renovated groovy hotel. Comfortable beds, attentive staff and great food and drink. The location is great for sightseeing and quality food. Be sure to catch happy hour, and the pizzas made in the restaurant are next level delicious. Kiera and Q went out of their way to help us find our way around, even by researching quality jazz bars in the area. They made us so welcome. So nice.
Some rooms are small, yes, but the king rooms are well-sized and easily fit two adults and a baby crib. Staff is great and friendly, the elevator is completely slow (but they know they can fix it if they shut it down) but even then, the stairs are quick and easy and friendly. Rooftop bar is lovely, though 11pm would be nice.
Nice place. Rooms are too small for me. Great staff. Close to Foggy Bottoms restaurants. George Washington University. Walking distance to Monuments. Nice pizza place. Not a quiet hotel second night for me.
We came into DC to attend an evening wedding. Hotel Hive was recommended because it was less than a 10 minute walk from the venue. We live in Woodbridge, VA, but decided to stay in DC because we didn't want the hassle of driving home after the reception or the expense of an Uber. Hotel Hive was great. The room and bed were comfortable. It was quiet. Parking was not as much of a hassle as I thought it would be. The garage was a block away. The room rate was pretty good for that part of the city. My only "thing" was the elevator. It is very small and slow. The person at the front desk forgot to inform us that one had to use the room key to use it. But overall, I would book another room there if I was to stay in the city again.
Very cool vibe. Good location to walk around. Extremely friendly staff. Would definitely stay again. The rooms are not huge (as they advertise), but ample space for 1 or 2 people. Highly recommend staying.
I stayed in this hotel for one evening while visiting our friends in DC. The front of house staff was SO helpful in their suggestions of what to do nearby and took into account walking distance from the hotel. The hotel room was small, but perfectly sized for our trip, as we mainly needed a comfortable place to sleep and relax after being out and about. It was very close to all main attractions and felt extremely safe walking around to get to restaurants or hopping in an Uber to get to the nearest spot. If I can say, the most enjoyable experience was the concierge team, they really made us feel welcome and taken care of!
