My stay at Cardozo GuestHouse was thoroughly enjoyable. The hotel is located in a vibrant neighborhood, which is centrally located. There are tons of bars and things to do. Recommendations: Bar Pilar, Le Diplomate, Trader Joe's

A group of 5 of us stayed in 3 of the 4 guest rooms at the Cardozo Guest House over Memorial Day weekend. I've stayed at this house 3 times previously, but two of my companions had never been east of the Mississippi, let alone in our Nation's capitol. I enjoyed introducing them to DC via the ambiance and personalized...

Really enjoyed this place. The house is beautiful and we enjoyed walking along nearby streets with lovely gardens. Would have been 5 stars except for the shared bathroom, which is fine unless you've got other guests that like to spend a long time in there! Mary, the housekeeper, was very nice as well!

I love this place, stayed for the 3rd time but sad that "my" room was booked so I stayed in 2 smaller rooms. Great location near the Metro, Starbucks, Falafel cafe and Trader Joes. Have never seen the owners but they must be interesting folks with all the great art! Rooms & bath are always clean and the price is...

A great place to stay in a very nice area of DC. Lots of local restaurants and very handy for the metro. Parking, access and amenities were exactly as described on the web-site and the emailed instructions. We would stay there again.

Good "eurpoean style" accommodations a short walk to the Metro, restaurants, coffee shops, etc ... place is clean and comfortable and only a few little details short of a five start review (no tissues or drinking glasses in room, would be nice to have a shampoo/soap dispenser in shared bath, "self check-in" process is a little cumbersome) ... but overall...

I stayed at the Cardozo for a couple of nights after I had already stayed at a downtown hotel near Union Station for a couple of nights. So I really liked Cardozo's location in a real DC neighbourhood, and the location has the advantages of being around the corner from a metro stop and along the street from a wide...

Cardozo is a very comfortable, exquisitely clean, guesthouse with lovely rooms. Moreover, Cardozo is located in a fantastic area of central DC, only a quick walk to many bistros, bars, restaurants and even a nearby Starbucks. The fact that Cardozo is not staffed by anyone was a bit hard to get used to, and I found myself a bit paranoid...

Great if you can handle a flight or two of stairs. We stayed in Norwall apt on the third floor, which has a little water damage in the bathroom, but is really very nice overall. We did not see a soul in the apartment over our two day stay, except a cleaning person at the very start. Location is on...

We stayed in the middle room on the 2nd floor - a nice if basic setup with the standard accessories. It was a nice stay, very quiet as there was no one else there. Accessing the lock was simple & convenient and the location is just a 5 minute walk from transit, dining and such. Next time we will ask...
