We're just back from our fifth (or is it sixth?) stay at the Woodley Park Guest House and we're already planning a return trip. Seeing Courtney and Joe, Nelly and Kelly was like arriving home to family. We brought friends along this trip who said...More
The practice of law brings me to Washington, D.C. for court conferences. I have stayed at the Woodley Park guest house on two different occasions. I have been very happy with each stay. The owners and staff are very courteous and make one feel at...More
I was very impresed with the service in this guesthouse. I had forgotten a pair of shoes, and the owners were happy to call their son who was the same size as myself. They helped with directions, gave me shopping ideas, and provdided a nice...More
The Woodley Park Guest House was the best "hotel" experience I have had in Washington, DC. The B&B is immaculate, the rooms beautifully decorated, the staff unbelieveably friendly and willing to help and the Continental plus breakfast just the ticket for a busy business or...More

Thank you for your inquiry and interest in the guest house. I apologize for such a delayed answer but we have been closed since August 17th for staff vacation - luckily we have Fantastic previous guests who have comprehensively answered your question.
I will just echo that Union Station's Metro stop and the Woodley Park/Zoo Metro stop are both on the red line (very convenient) and that the B&B is across the street from the Woodley Park/Zoo Metro elevator and one block away from the escalator.
DC's subway (Metro) is not open 24 hours. It closes at midnight Sunday - Thursday and closes at 3AM on Friday and Saturday. Please note that our front desk is only staffed from 8:00AM - 8:00PM daily; if you plan to arrive after hours, contact us directly for late arrival instructions. We hope to see you soon!
