No attention to guest services. Had to beg to get any service from any employee. Room checkin had trash in the waste basket and no soap in the bathroom. One employee jokingly said the owner is so cheap I was lucky to get soap. Pass on this hotel.

I just completed a two night stay at the FI Downtown and had a pleasant experience. From check-in to check-out, the staff were courteous and helpful. The hotel is located close to a variety of restaurants and a Metro station. A complimentary breakfast is included- due to COVID, it is a "grab and go" feature. My elite status was recognized, leading to an upgrade to a larger room. Highly recommended!

This was a great location. Walkable to most DC attractions. Wiseguy pizza shop close by & Irish channel restaurant & pub next to hotel. Variety of Chinese restaurant options. Extremely pet friendly. The room was sanitized & well cleaned. Hotel staff very friendly & helpful. Check in & out was smooth. Bonus, they have a secured parking garage. We had a great trip & will definitely stay here again.

Rooms are very nice and functional with engineered wood plank flooring. There are 11 HD channels and the rest are analogue. Main HBO channel is HD but the 3 others are not, There are many blank channels and several channels repeated and several channels are wrong with their name when first displayed and confusing. Lots of fixing up needed here. Only movie channels are the 4 HBOs. The room coffee is the worst in the world. Totally undrinkable (closer to black water) and a waste of money to even supply it. This has to be corrected as there are many better in-room coffee systems even within Marriott. Totally upset that in mid-stay new guests were assigned our room and they were able to walk right in with their luggage and all (assuming our room was theirs). No apology or explanation from the front desk. Totally unacceptable operational screw up by front desk from a security and privacy point of view. In addition, several times during the week-long stay, requests to front-desk for items or service (garbage pickup, towels, etc.) were not satisfied. No housekeeping service at all during 1 week stay which is very poor. Other Marriott properties at least provide a courtesy call to check on garbage and in-room supplies (coffee, soap, towels, etc.). Why must all guests feel like there are totally on their own and self-sufficient? All female front-desk staff are super friendly and helpful. The male staff are not so friendly and much less helpful with service attitude issues. Management needs to tend to a number of issues on how they operate during Covid-19 including things that aren't related to it, such as T.V. services and quality of their in-room coffee (a disaster).

The Accessible room 322 was exceptionally spacious with a huge roll in bench equipped shower, cushiony toilet seat riser, ample bars. The first time I have ever had an accessible room with wall hooks and closet rakes lowered to a comfortable wheelchair level. The central China Town location is safe, clean and 2 blocks from the Gallery Place Metro Staion, 10 minutes from the nearest DC Circulator stop at 7th and Massachustts Avenue. It is a quick 10 minutes from Union Station/ Amtrak. The free boxed breakfast was nice. Yogurt, muffin, Protein Bar and water. Nice touch given the restaurants and those in the area are very limited and restricted because of Covid 19 restrictions. A mask is required in all public spaces within the property. Overall it was a fantastic and relaxed Fridsy to Sunday visit. I was happy, satisfied and well taken car of. My room was slightly noisy but I expected as much since everyone was in town for the March on Washington! Because of Covid 19 protocols, there was no housekeeping service but the front desk team addressed my request for a refrigerator that is typically not included in King Single rooms here but the dryer, iton and coffee maker were great.
