I stay at a lot of hotels and when I crawled into the bed was the best nights sleep while on the road. Great staff, knowledgable, and friendly. I would recommend if youare in the area to come stay at M6.
I really enjoyed my stay at this Motel 6. The room was reasonable priced. I liked their friendly Staff when arriving, and checking out. The Room was clean with comfortable beds. I will definitely be back.
paid $120 for a room, had cig holes in bed spread, woke up in the middle of the night to find a roach crawling across the table. staff not friendly, D.C police officers sitting close by in front and back of hotel when I took my dogs out that morning, this was a plus I guess. overall not a good stay!
1) Called DC Convention Center Motel 6 despite beIng nowhere near DC Convention Center. You WILL get lost trying to find it. 2) Advertises as having free, high-speed internet—which was pleasing as I expected to have quite a bit of down time in the room in which to get work done. The internet connection was nonexistent—it didn’t maintain for more than 90 seconds at a time for the entire two days I’ve been here. Wasn’t able to do any work whatsoever. 3) Room had clearly not been cleaned prior to my arrival—there was still feces on the toilet bowl when I first used it. Also, whenever the toilet flushes, there is a incredibly loud, sustained noise for 2-3 min after that I’m shocked didn’t wake any other guests. 4) There’s a flat screen tv but no tv remote. 5) Office attendant barely acknowledged me and didn’t bother to tell me roughly where my room was—just expected me to look until I found it. I didn’t spend a lot, so I suppose one gets what one pays for, but I’ve stayed in hostels in the city for half this price and experienced far better quality.…
Came to DC and needed a place to stay until my residence was complete. I came across Motel 6 on New York Ave. and they had two rooms left. The reception manager was great and very friendly. When he showed me the room I was a bit shocked that such low quality standards can be found in Washington DC – our nation’s capital. The rooms were extremely outdated, dirty and just had an overall feel of not being clean. I figured I could stay anywhere for one night. We’re here for eight hours and haven’t Slept a lick. The owners and managers of this Motel 6 should be ashamed. There is nothing redeemable about this Motel 6 except the receptionist. Clean this place up now and start treating people like decent human beings. Just look at all the bad reviews you are getting.
